    The Demon Syndicate RP

    This thread is for clan-related RP. If you are not a member, please go to the clan OOC thread first, read the rules, and fill out an application as well.

    Setting:
    • It is modern day in a world not unlike our own. Magic and Science coexist, though views on both differ from place to place. Merging magic with technology is a difficult, complex task that only a few select members within the Syndicate have accomplished.
    • Most of humanity - the major race of the world - is very xenophobic and aggressive towards Demons and other human-like races, which is what lead to the Syndicate's creation. Tolerance for such creatures vary in each territory. What is accepted in one village might be outlawed completely in neighboring countries. The Syndicate itself is partially known to non-humans, but more of a passing rumor amongst human society.
    • Most of the roleplay will take place in the Syndicate castle or the demon town surrounding it, though you are in no way restricted to that area. Castle town exists within a kind of "pocket dimension" where entering the surrounding forest will take the traveler to - or from - the human realm. Most other demons reside in their respective kingdoms within the underworld.
    RP-specific rules:
    • No godmodding
    • No posting here until your rp character has been approved (see below).
    • Characters must be balanced, this means:
      • No OP abilities (manipulating reality, controlling other characters, spawning way to many objects, etc.)
      • Powerful abilities can't be spammed (need a cooldown time or something)
      • Characters must have legit weaknesses, ones that may affect combat (more than just "doesn't care about dying" because that can be seen as a positive, i.e. fighting w/o fear)
        • No mary-sue characters. Pick a specialty. "Jack-of-all-trades" is not a specialty.
      • If you're in a serious PvP fight, you are probably going to have to take a few hits. No super long stalemates plz.
    • Continuity must be maintained
      • No appearing randomly, without a reasonable explanation.
      • No unrealistically wandering away from or into battles or conversations.
      • Try to make up a reason when you're logging off for sleep.
      • For clarity, if you are responding to a specific person, or referencing a post, quote it. If you don't quote, there's no context, and it gets hard to follow.
    • Keep the pace reasonable
      • Give people a chance to keep up.
      • Please keep posts at about a high-school level of grammar.
      • Try to embellish your posts with things like stage directions (what your char is doing while talking), and describe things like body language and tone of voice.
      • When you're writing a reply, open a new tab, refresh the RP thread, and make sure another person hasn't changed the situation, and if they have, amend your post accordingly.
      • Minimal OOC is fine in the RP but try to keep it reasonable. Take OOC conversations to the OOC Thread.

    Race Name: Elves

    Harbinger: Squidgi

    Appearance: Most elves look the same as humans, except for the long ears. The dark elf variants though tend to have darker grey skin.

    Race Strengths and Weaknesses: All elves are physically weak, though make up for it in their intelligence and skills. Though elves have the innate ability to see in the dark better then most races, seeing extra well in darkened areas when at least a low light is around.

    Race Strengths and Weaknesses: High elves are the smartest of the three elves. High elves tend to stick around magic and alchemy. Due to this, it's uncommon to see high elves venture in forests, though not impossible. They tend to prefer their lab or books in comparison to walks in the forests or sneaking in the dark. High elves are the weakest of the three elves physically.

    Reproduction Methods: Same as humans

    Race's fighting styles: If you find a high elf in a fight, they will almost always stick to their magic or runes. Due to this, they will normally keep their distance, trying to keep away from the enemies due to not being able to take a hit well.

    Social Construct of Race: Though high elves will normally stay in communities, they tend to keep to themselves. It's common for a high elf to stay in an area well supplied to easily get the materials they want, though only for that reason. Some high elves even go so far as to not talk to anyone, finding their research more important then social interaction.

    Traits: Due to their extremely high intelligence, it's easy for them to understand magic and technology quickly. All high elves tend to have at least some knowledge in most types of magical research and can quickly gain an affinity for it. Outside of their magic and technology, however, they don't have much experience in survivability, though they could get by if they had access to their device or magic.

    Misc. Info: It's not uncommon for high elves to use their own body for experiments, which can lead to mutations and even complete changes in their race.


    Race Strengths and Weaknesses: These elves are more forest adventures. They tend to be the toughest of the three elves having spent a lot of their life adventuring through the forests. Due to this, they could survive off of nothing, using the environment to make tools to help them. They also tend to excel in archery, usually used for hunting creature to keep them fed.

    Reproduction Methods: Same as humans

    Race's fighting styles: Wood elves will do their best to keep away. Though unlike high elves, they will primarily use their bow and arrow. Though it isn't uncommon for them to have a small knife they could also use in combat, though they would only resort to a knife if they run out of arrows.

    Social Construct of Race: Wood elves tend to stay in small communities within a couple dozen at most. Most are minimalistic, so they won't own houses, some may have tents though. Some wood elves venture to multiple locations where some stay in one place. Though they will move at some point since locations will tend to run out of animals to hunt.

    Traits: Wood elves have an easy time living off of nature. Due to this, they find no need for technology to help them in their day to day lives. While they don't normally put a lot of effort into studying magic, some wood elves may have some knowledge in it. If a woof elf were to learn magic, it would normally involve the earth or life magic.

    Race Strengths and Weaknesses: Dark elves aren't extremely tough, though they could put up in a fight. They have high skills in swords and melee type weapons, and are decent with ranged weapons like a bow and arrow. They can keep them selves well hidden even in plan sight due to their sneaking skills. Though the dark elves are the least logical of the group, this can be their downfall as they try to keep to themselves often as well.

    Reproduction Methods: Same as humans

    Race's fighting styles: Even though elves tend to be physically weaker than other races, they make up for it with their quick reaction time and agility. They can avoid hits well, but if they take a hit it would hurt more then others. They also tend to keep to the darkness, keeping away from a direct fight unless totally necessary. They may use magic, though it's uncommon.

    Social Construct of Race: Dark elves will keep to themselves. If they stay in cities or towns, they will keep away from everyone, living in a secluded area or at least alone. Some dark elves will work together as a small group, but it's unlikely to see them even talk to other races unless under a special circumstance.

    Traits: Dark elves are all about fighting. They will spend most of their life doing mercenary jobs, simply because that's how their race tend to live. They have a strong ability for melee and other forms of physical fighting, though blades tend to be their favorite weapons. Though for dark elves, as long as it will help them grow stronger, they will could gain some affinity for it. Dark elves tend to stick to fire and destruction magic when learning any.

    Misc: Since elves are so similar to humans, most humans won't treat them as badly as most demons, most even ignore them.
    Race Name: Dragon / Darastrix

    Harbinger: BrutorDragon

    Appearance: All colors and patterns one can think of. Types include the very large Feral Form, traditional four legged dragon. Usually the largest as some can be as tall as castles itself. Bipedal/Quadrupedal Feral form is more humanoid in appearance. Up to about 10ft in height. They sport normal Dragon features, but with females possibly having human like faces. Dragons can also look completely human or into a half human half dragon form, though it takes practive to be able to change forms at will.

    Race Strengths and Weaknesses: High in strength, speed, and intelligence. Most are territorial. Size does differ attributes. A larger Dragon will be much stronger then a smaller one, though the smaller will be faster. Toughness of their scales varies as well. Rock like Dragons being the toughest, water like Dragons tend to be softer. Soft spot in the middle of the chest is a weak point for dragons. Bones and Claws able to break rocks as well, as each Dragon is. In there very large feral Dragon form, they have an effective weakness. A small (ish) opening in the middle upper chest leads directly to their heart.

    Reproduction Methods: As humans do, but lay 1-3 eggs after a few weeks when impregnated.

    Race's fighting styles: However they feel like. Usually aggressive.

    Social Construct of Race : Ruled by a King and Queen Dragon. Typically live apart and are independent. Most Dragons fight each other on sight, over territory, and right to mate.

    Traits: Dragon Breath is weapon that every Dragon posses. It can be used in any of their forms, and range in strength depending on the Dragon them-self, age, and mental stability. The Breath can be near any element and sort of attack. Be it something of a gas, a spray, a pulse, or a beam. Each dragon can very their Breath attack. They love to bite. All the teeth in a Dragon are razor sharp and strong enough to crush stone easily. Even in human form, each one is pointed.

    Misc. Info: Many Dragons know the old language, few do not. They speak common tounge as well as human languages aside from their own. (Pretty much use THIS if you want to speak Dragon)
    Race Name: Kitsune
    Harbinger: Cynthia (Neptz)
    Appearance: They are similar to humans, but also similar to neko with the fact that they have fox ears and tail
    Race Strengths and Weaknesses: Kitsunes are high on the female gender, but there are males, too. This ensured the survival of the race. Females are weaker than males, but not by choice. Their muscles are weak, and their bones fragile, which makes them much more likely to break. However, they have much more energy and can hold more magic, thus being able to do spells way more powerful than most races. Their fox forms are a good way to blend in, too, as they usually have their ear and tail color the same as most fox races. This depends on location, for example, an kitsune that lives amongst silver foxes tends to have silver tail and ears, along with a silver fox form.
    Reproduction Methods: The process is more human, but the child and fetus grow faster than most races. An baby can grow to an year in half a month, and so forth.
    Race's fighting styles: Kitsune don't fight much, as they are frequently hunted by humans. They tend to ally themselves with other monster races and form groups to protect itself. Either that, or they use trickery and magic to run away. Very rarely you see an kitsune using magic to actually fight someone.
    Social Construct of Race: Kitsune count their days in a different calendar, showing what they do in months and how much magic is available to them that mount. They dont count days, so its hard for them to understand the human calendar. For example, let's say someone said 29th of December. Clearly the kitsune would only know December. Most kitsune are very warm, warmer when they are in groups, this is because their tails produce heat, an reason for which scientists still need to know. It is theorized this is remnants of an evolutionary process, where they lived in cold climates and needed to be warmer. Most kitsunes speak japanese as a native language, but that doesn't mean they have to exclusively speak it. Kitsunes live in packs, which is either their family, or a group of friends, or whoever is trusted. Those packs, also can be called groups, usually serve an purpose in their village. An pack could be hunt, or be guards. Etc. Kitsune relationships don't last much, usually those only happens when females are on their heat period and need to reproduce, and shortly after they are normal again, the relationship ends. This doesnt happen when the kitsune is dating a different species. Kitsunes remain with their traits ever after transformed. An werewolf kitsune, for example, would remain an kitsune, but turn into their fox forms in a full moon. Or an changeling kitsune can still change into their fox forms naturally, without using their changeling powers. Cutting an kitsune's tail hurts a lot,and is usually done when one is exiled (with anesthesia, of course, made with special herbs and a bit of magic) Kitsunes are shy and dont tend to stay near predators or races stronger than them. An weak kitsune pack would avoid an dragon if it was proven strong enough.
    Traits: Able to transform into a fox form, who cannot talk like humans, and rather does normal fox sounds instead. In this form, they can see and think clearly, but sometimes they will become, or have wild and salvage thoughts. An high deposit of magic near their tails, feet and hands allow an good variety of spells, too, and easy combining of elements, with it's own defects.

    Race Name: Neko

    Harbinger: Britefire

    Appearance: A neko is a humanoid who possess feline features, most commonly ears and a tail. Some may be slightly more feline in appearance than others, such as, for example, more cat-like eyes.

    Race Strengths and Weaknesses: Neko are quite dexterous and agile, allowing for maneuvers that would be impossible for many Humans. While they are agile and quick, they are also often physically weaker when compared to many other races.

    Reproduction Methods: The most common way for Neko to reproduce is the same as that of Humans. There have also been cases of Humans being turned into Neko, be it through powerful spells of shapechanging or other magic.
    Race's fighting styles: While it varies greatly between them, Neko generally fight using quick weapons, such as light blades or similar weapons, with styles that utilize their innate agility and speed to make up for their inherent lack of strength.

    Social Construct of Race: Neko tend to be a scattered race, many living in villages or towns with other demons, though villages of Neko are not unheard of. Some may even pose as Humans and attempt to live among them.

    Traits: Neko are very agile, quick, and dexterous, in comparison with many other demons. Often they can be very stealthy if they so choose. Some Neko are even known to posess the ability to transform into a cat.

    Misc. Info: Most Neko are often easily distracted. Catnip does have an effect on them, varying slightly between people, as well as between different varieties of the plant.
    Race Name: Usagi

    Harbinger: Squidgi

    Appearance: Their appearance is extremely similar to humans, aside from rabbit ears coming out from their head, occasionally a tail or even more uncommonly whiskers.

    Race Strengths and Weaknesses: Usagi have much higher leg strength, therefore have greater natural speed and jump height. Though they lack the strength to take a hit and can go down fairly quickly.

    Reproduction Methods: Usagi reproduce the same way as humans, but at a faster rate.

    Race's fighting styles: Usagi tend to be more physical fighters to compliment their speed.

    Social Construct of Race: Usagi live in small communities. They tend to travel more often then not but some stay in one place. Because of this, many communities don't progress far in technology and get most of their equipment through trading.

    Traits: Greater speed/jump height and strong physical skills.

    Race Name: Lamia

    Harbingers: Mailboxhead & Britefire

    Appearance: Lamias are a race with the upper body of a human, but the lower body of a snake connected at the hips. Their tails are covered in tough scales with color patterns similar to many desert-dwelling reptiles. Their skin-color can vary from human to in-human, and all have venomous fangs and long, forked tongues. There can exist major physical differences between Lamia from different regions. In one area they could have dark blue skin; in another, an extra set of arms. Such changes are genetic and can be passed on to offspring, rarely finding their way into Lamia uncommon for their region of birth.

    Race Strengths and Weaknesses: Originating from the deserts of the world, Lamia are very resilient to both heat and fire, given their cold-blooded biology. They are however week to cold and ice, as they are not used to such low temperatures. It slows down their movements immensely. The scaled outer portion of their tale is tough and resistant to scrapes and cuts. They are also very quick, able to strike out with amazing speed. They use this to their advantage when biting their victims. The effects of a Lamia's venom varies from person to person, slowed movement and crippling pain being most common. It can take a few moments to circulate through the body and can last up to a couple hours. It is, however, rarely fatal.

    A very small percentage of Lamia are able to hypnotize by holding eye-contact. The hypnotized victim would obey the Lamia's orders so long as they continued holding that eye contact, while most other Lamia are immune to the effect.

    Reproduction Methods: Lamia reproduce naturally the same way humans would. A pregnant Lamia will lay a clutch of eggs a couple weeks after conception, and these eggs will hatch a few weeks later. The eggs must remain warm to survive.

    Race's fighting styles: Lamia favor quick, lightning-fast attacks and flourishes. They use their strong tails and venom to their full advantages, biting their enemies or binding them, suffocating them into unconcsiousness.

    Social Construct of Race: Most Lamia live in villages deep within the deserts of the world. Far secluded from human settlements, they are often led by a village elder or chief. Being well adapted to the desert, subsistence there is quite easy for them. Few ever leave the warm sands of their homeland. Most of the Lamia in the Syndicate are from a single village that has come seeking refuge.

    Traits: Venom, Lightning-quick reflexes, Hypnotic Stare (rare).

    Races that have strong links, ties or origins to the underworld.

    Race Name: Succubus

    Harbinger: Squidgi

    Appearance: Appearance is similar to that of humans with the exception of horns, wings, and a tail. The succubus have the ability to turn themselves to a human appearance to fool humans and steal their soul to feed on.

    Race Strengths and Weaknesses: Succubi tend to be weaker physically and much stronger magically. Because of this, without proper protection, they can be easily defeated in hand to hand combat. If a succubus isn't kept fed by souls, they will eventually become weaker.

    Reproduction Methods: The succubi can choose to reproduce in the same way as humans, but can also corrupt a part of a humans soul to transform them to a succubus. The transformation process can differ depending on the succubus.

    Race's fighting styles: Succubi tend to prefer magic over strength, and therefore avoid being close in to battle. Some succubi choose not to fight and rather charm a target with seduction.

    Social Construct of Race: The succubi either travel alone or under a hierarchy. Under a hierarchy, they would follow under a queen and take commands under her and alone they would mind their own business, not normally coming into contact with other succubi. The succubi under a hierarchy tend to be more loving between others pf their kind and share their takings of souls where the loner type succubi tend to keep everything for themselves.

    Traits: Along with an affinity for magic, succubi have the ability to charm and seduce others. This can make for a more a peaceful succubus in battle, avoiding harm to herself or target. This "charm" ability is also their best weapon to tricking a human into getting their soul. Once the human is distracted enough, it wouldn't be very difficult to take their soul. Charming can come in very different varieties, whether it be seducing or just being cute for attention.

    Misc. Info: Succubi can extract souls into solid, physical objects. They would appear as a gelatinous orb, similar to ectoplasm, slightly white and transparent. They simply eat this. Corrupting a soul is as simply as taking the soul out, taking a small bite of it and putting the soul back in, the soul will regenerate over time.

    Race Name: Valmenhein "Soulless"

    Valmenhein have a Metallic skeleton structure along with their skin being a mix of many particles such as soot, ash, and even at times Obsidian rocks. As for outfits due to their weaknesses most modern society Valmenhein wear armor ranging from Medieval Knight, to a more modern looking full metal armor.
    However the elder tend to wear actual fire/heat resistant clothing in many styles that might fit a man of Fancy, and class.


    Race Strengths and Weaknesses: They are weak to anything that can Purify. Water, slight stamina weakness, and purification when in the sunlight. Platinum is rumored to do massive purification damage. Due to their heavy bones of metal it takes more to walk, and more time to run, or stop. Valmenhein can be shot in the brain, and die as well as choked of CO2, a primary compound they breath. However a Valmenhein can die from their half-soul is completely destroyed due to becoming more and more weakened by physical impacts.

    Their strength comes from their almost metallic-ash body along with a thin bloodstream-like web of Magma. Since having a heavier body makes their muscles much larger, and allows punches to become as damaging as a wreaking-ball. Valmenhein also have severe blood-lust issues, and can get quite violent.

    Reproduction Methods: Valmenhein have the ability to reproduce among themselves sexually. However due to the division of both the parrent's souls into the child will only able to create a soul thats less than half the size of a normal one. Thus limiting the ammout of offspring can be born from one family line. ((Aka 2 halves don't equal another half. Which in this case 2 Valmenhein cannot give all of each's soul without dying. Basically resulting in a product child that has less than half of a Soul. Which if done many times will result in a soul so fragmented that life cannot be supported by it.))

    Race's fighting styles: Most typical Valmenhein use Magic, or guns. Again, the elder use more ancient weapons like Sabers, Scythe's, and modified Flintlock weaponry. Mostly it depends on who they align their faith to in the many factions of the Valmenhinium Empire.

    Social Construct of Race: The cities of the Valmenhinium Empire consist 20 sparse cities across the Underworlds' seemingly endless landscape. Due to the far distance between cities they came up with creating large area's for specific kinds of building/houses/etc spanning miles around the city center. They can also be outlined ((sometimes)) by a large wall. Most buildings are made of Stone, Steel, and Concrete with SOME glass on things like Skyscrapers, or Cathedrals.

    As for a few of many unlisted factions others in the rp want to make here are the few main factions

    The Imperium, The Shadows of The Vigilantine, The Valmenhein Republic, and The Communist Confederacy

    New suggested factions by others can be added, and will become cannon.

    Traits: Some Valmenhein may be smaller, taller, buffer, or scrawnier than the other. Some mutations can occur such as Tails, wings, or even scales of Obsidian. Even extremes to eye-color changes, or hair color change. Valmenhein are also adaptive to make better use of manipulating either the earth, or the fires of destruction.


    Misc. Info: the current stats of the Valmenhinium Empire is at piece however many factions are starting to point their sticks at each-other that may cause another Civil War.

    Valmenhein also refer their existence to Daelthious creating them.

    Corruptive:
    Races which rely mainly on turning beings of other races to their own.

    Race Name: Werewolf

    Appearance: Large Bipedal wolves varying in colour or in human when the full moon is not present. There are two categories, Werewolf, which is the most common and is a slave to the full mood. The other is Lycanthrope, which can shift at will, this trait is associated with very strong individuals usually the alpha in any given group, most often there is only one Lycan per pack.

    Race Strengths and Weaknesses: In human form those afflicted have mildly heightened senses, in wolf form it gets even stronger. Along with this in wolf form they become strong, fast and efficient hunters. They have improved regeneration abilities, transforming after receiving a large wound a lycan can shift to cause it to shrink; however vice versa the wound will increase in size and severity if one shifts from lycan to human. They have a strong weakness to silver; it can stop regeneration, inflict sickness and sometimes force a wolf form its form. Even humans afflicted will have a minor aversion to silver most commonly Queasiness and burning, but other insane side effects have been recorded. Sliver sickness prevents the person from shifting; not curing this may result in curing lycanthropy but 90% results in death.
    Reproduction Methods: Are capable of reproducing on their own between male and female lycanthropes. Following selective breeding properties the offspring can become stronger or weaker respectively. They may also bite Humanoid beings ((Humans, elves, etc.)) to infect them with Lycanthropy, Have also been known to impregnate humans and wolves, producing humans with strange body hair and behavioral patterns or dire wolves.

    Race's fighting styles: Regular pack tactics such as flanking and overwhelming, or adopted styles from training as a human using claws and teeth. In human form the fighting style can be anything.

    Social Construct of Race: Can be in packs or lone wolves. In packs the Hierarchy follows the basics of a pack alpha Male and female rule and lead the pack as the strongest members. The position is always up for grabs through duels. Lone wolves do whatever they want; this is most common in werewolves as it is hard to come to terms with what they have become.

    Racial Traits: Both are forced to shift under a full moon. They have a strong melee base combat style one of the weaker offensive magical races, but they have an affinity with augmentative and shape magic.


    Misc. Info: Pack wolves are extremely territorial. Lycans and Werewolves are forced to shift during a full moon unless they have silver sickness
    Race Name: Changeling (Endangered species)
    Harbinger: Con7Rad7
    Appearance: They are shapeshifters. Normally, they mostly appear like humans, except with graying skin, vibrant hair and eye colours, antennae, horns, insectoid wings, and biological armour made of exoskeleton.

    Race Strengths and Weaknesses: They are amazing magic users. They all are adept in some way at chaos magic, which adds the benefit of their main trait, shapeshifting. Changeling rulers can exert a "hivemind" over their subjects that makes disloyalty impossible, yet no more changeling rulers exist because very few changelings at all exist at this point
    Reproduction Methods: They can take other creatures, and using chaos magic, turn them into changelings too. This is usually done in a cocoon from magic. Also theres the silly human way.

    Race's fighting styles: Magic, deceit, shapeshifting, and all that

    Race Strengths and Weaknesses: Angels are lighter than most creatures would be, this lets them fly.
    Reproduction Methods: Angels rarely reproduce, but they do it in the normal way. (This excludes the practices of fallen angels)
    Race's fighting styles: Most angels focus on the use of swords for combat, along with aeiral combat
    Social Construct of Race: There are three types of angels, the ones that live in their utopia, the ones who left, and the exiled/corrupted, otherwise known as 'fallen angels'. In the utopia, the church of the angels holds all the power, and is adimantly anti-demon. For the ones who left the city, they live as renegades mostly, never really ever getting prevelant enough to actually start a town. The fallen angels are usually fully assimilated into demon culture
    Traits: They all hold the ability to fly. The priests, priestesses, and inquisitors of the Angel church are obsessed with 'purification', and those who are unpure or not a member of their society are clipped. Corrupted angels over time have their wings turn black.
    Misc. Info:Almost everything they create is made to be lightweight and pure. A fallen Angel is determined by if an angel is unpure, mostly shown through black wings. They are usually hunted by the church's inquisitors, along with other demons
    Race Name: Trickster

    Harbinger: Stu and Improved

    Appearance: Almost exactly like humans, save for their almost eerily bland appearances. Their skin is usually pale, but not unnaturally so. They tend towards wearing plain clothes without bright colours, and some wear hats.

    Race Strengths and Weaknesses: Tricksters are tremendously powerful psychically, but suffer for it by way of a curse put upon the race as a whole by someone even more powerful than they, which forces every Trickster to carry an item of their choice with them through life. If a non-Trickster gets the item, the Trickster becomes extremely weak, to the point where it's a supreme effort to stand upright, and they can't use their psychic power at all. If the item is destroyed, the Trickster dies. Tricksters can manipulate the minds of people around them, being able to choose whether to be seen or not. A trickster will usually decide to appear to only one person or a group of people, more often than not to further one of their schemes. Tricksters aren't very durable (i.e. as durable as a normal person of their age/fitness), but they can deflect most attacks psychically.

    Reproduction Methods: Bog-standard, exactly like humans.

    Race's fighting styles: Either conventional weaponry, magic, beating you by making you beat yourself (crippling self-doubt, Hannibal Lecture, The Reason You Suck Speech, you name it), or the "pick you up and toss you around" school of psychic warfare.

    Social Construct of Race: If there was anything that could be called a perfect democracy, the hierarchy of the Tricksters would probably be it. Every second year, a Prime Minister is elected to rule over all Tricksters, and he/she can be thrown out at any given moment. If a Trickster breaks a promise that they made during their election campaign (yes, they do have them), they are immediately ousted and replaced by the second-most-popular runner. As a result, there is a massive amount of treachery in Trickster politics, and Trickster promises are notoriously vague.

    Traits: Tricksters have natural longevity, living from 200 to 500 years. They possess immense psychic power, but also have to hold an 'item' or face debilitating effects or death. Tricksters are about as physically durable as humans, but noticeably smarter.

    Name: Forgotten ones

    Harbinger: Crazyon

    Appearance: Among the Forgotten ones, three body types are common, Aberration, Beast, and Humanoids.
    Aberrations and Beasts are superior in physical power, but are savages, Humanoids can use magic, and can sometimes be on par on physical strength if they are warriors. Humanoids appear almost human, but they can sometimes be unnaturally pale. Their eyes are always Black save for the iris and pupil, which are usually red, blue, or purple, their features can consist of pointed ears at times, but other times they can have plain ears, and their skin may be made out of strange substances.
    They can also have excess limbs, or limbs that may be...abnormal, along with tails at times. Among all of the Forgotten ones, their is one strange being that is exempt from these body types, this Forgotten one is known as the Faceless one, and has been around since forgotten ones can remember.

    Race Strengths and Weaknesses: Forgotten ones can regenerate many wounds, but holy magic can banish them from this plane for long periods of time, anywhere from hours to millennia depending on individual strength and magic ability. Depending on ones form, their abilities may vary. A forgotten one is usually killed if it's soul is devoured. Fire magic can also make newly made forgotten ones panic, and can burn forgotten ones most of the times.

    Reproduction Methods: Once in a while, a new forgotten one will emerge from the abyss. They will only know remnants of their past, and will have no memories other than that. Humanoids can reproduce normally with other humanoid races.

    Race's fighting styles: Various methods of combat depending on how one looks, if it is a beast or aberration, it attacks savagely, humanoids can use magic.

    Social Construct of Race: There is no social construct of the race, all forgotten ones act independently, and have different personalities. Many forgotten ones can form groups, or simply roam and fraternize with other races.

    Traits: All forgotten one's are capable of regeneration, they can also become adept at a form of magic from their past life before being sent to the abyss.

    A forgotten one can devour the soul of someone it has killed, and send it to the abyss, slowly that soul will change, and eventually emerge from the abyss, but it can also be devoured by those who are also sent there...
    Race Name: Slimes

    Harbinger: Mailboxhead

    Appearance:Slimes are a race of humanoids who have bodies entirely made of a liquid material. They can take on any form, male or female, but prefer ones with softer, sleeker features as they are the easiest to mimic with their liquid bodies. Their sizes can vary depending on the ammount of material they've absorbed recently. Slimes sometimes appear shorter than other races, given that they can form legs to walk on, but mostly prefer slushing around in a pool of liquid just below the calves.

    A slime's body can come in many colors. They rarely wear clothing since it's difficult to keep the garments from sinking into their form, most just keep a bare, blank body form as a result. A few slimes have a central nucleus that serves most of their critical functions. They are generally referred to as “core-slimes” and their cores can take on many shapes, colors, and sizes. A non-core-slime can be given part of another's core, or make their own over time if they wish.

    Race Strengths and Weaknesses: Slimes require a lot of liquid to survive. This makes them very capable with water magic, but rely heavily on areas with lots of moisture. They are very strong against fire, nearly immune to physical blows (save for their cores), but are vulnerable to magic and energy.

    Reproduction Methods: Slimes are technically an asexual race. When one has gained enough liquid and nutrients, they can condense the excess material into an orb and let it incubate (sort of like an egg). The young slimeling will be born straight into childhood and will mature quickly over the course of several weeks. Core-slimes use the same process, but seed the orb with a piece of their core.

    Slimes transform other humanoids into their race by enveloping and absorbing their bodies. It's the same process they use when absorbing nutrients from food, but it will create a huge amount of slime that the victim's life-force will still inhabit. They then split the new Slime away from their body. Those with nuclei will fracture their cores and give part to the new slime.

    Slimes can also merge with others to form a singular conscious, sharing ideas and memories. Considered one of the greatest bonding rituals in their society (consider it slime marriage), it's often temporarily done to newly transformed slimes to instill the thoughts and ideals that will keep them with the colony.

    Race's fighting styles: Slimes don't fight very often. Those that do prefer either to bludgeon their enemies by engorging their hands into large, heavy fists, or make use of any magic they may have learned. It's also common for slimes to capture enemies in their bodies and suffocate them into unconsciousness.

    Social Construct of Race: Slimes usually live in colonies in or surrounding large bodies of water, or in places of high humidity. They can number anywhere from a few members to several hundred, many colonies being lead by a single "Queen" who has merged with enough slimes to gain vast intelligence.

    Slimes are by nature very carefree and view slimehood as the best state of being. They tend to be quite overbearing about it, transforming new members whether they want it or not. This is what gives them a bad reputation among human settlements. Fearful of being dragged away unwillingly, mortals have purged many colonies over the years, leaving a multitude of survivors and refugees seeking shelter.

    Traits: Adept at Water elemental magic,

    Misc. Info: Slimes can absorb nutrients from any type of normal food, though solid matter is harder to break down. Semi-liquid diets of blended fruits and juices are preferred.

    Gender: Female

    Bio: Kalissa is a neko rogue who takes little seriously, often acting mischievously and playing pranks, who often will rush into situations on impulse without. She is loyal to her friends, though that doesn't stop her from often messing with them for fun, if anything targetting them far more. While born human, she soon embraced being a neko after she had been turned a few years back, wandering as a rogue for around two years before turning up at the castle as a scout for Queen Xertra. From her practice as a rogue, she is fairly skilled with stealth and thievery, though relies very much on her magic for most of what she has done, using illusions to quiet or conceal herself, among other tactics. When fighting, she uses her three daggers in a mix of melee and throwing, using her magic in combination with her daggers, enchanted to conduct electricity in an extremely efficient manner while resisting corrosion. In terms of magic, she is most skilled and has the best control with her wind magic, followed by her illusion magic. While able to use her lightning magic with skill, she lacks precise control over it, and sometimes may even accidentally cause sparks when extremely upset.

    Character name: Lilly Rosenhearth
    Gender: Female

    Bio: Lilly is a succubus who works on special runes and runic technology in the castle. She can be eccentric in her behavior at times, though is overall usually friendly. She arrived at the castle as a human, after the her former co-workers on a research team betrayed her and "banished" her with a powerful teleportation trap, out of skepticism and disapproval of her suspicious practices with alchemy and her 'infernal' studies of mixing magic and technology. Arriving at the castle lost and without anywhere to go, she joined, soon being turned to a succubus so she could stay. Though a succubus, she still struggles with her succubus instincts, trying to keep herself busy through her research to ignore them, unsuccessfully at times. While able to achieve great feats with the runic technology she creates, she is not cery skilled with the more standard fire and water magic she knows, not very effective in combat and mainly using the vapor and water magic to heal.

    Major Knowledge: Alchemy, Rune magic, and the combination of that rune magic with technology she builds to create quite advanced devices.

    Character name: Camelia "Ember" Himura
    Gender: Female

    Bio: Camilia Himura, who usually goes by 'Ember' is a fairly usual Neko. At one point, she met Drosera, and soon become a friend after helping her make a new orb for her new magitech invention. Later on, she decided to test out the fire ability orb after Drosera had finished creating. As she tested it out, something went wrong, the orb that was supposed to be contained within the glove managed to merge into her body, giving part of her hair a fire-like appearance while allowing her to conjure fire for fire magic, even before training much. Though she was somewhat panicked when it first happened, she now quite likes the fire abilities it let her do, practicing blending it with her unarmed combat. While she can be fairly powerful with it, she is limited in the range she can use it, not able to make the long range attacks like many mages are able to, she instead uses the magic itself both to assist her unarmed strikes and counters, and as a melee weapon in itself. In addition, while not knowledgeable enough to create devices like Drosera uses, she has a small collection of devices Drosera had made for her, which she now tinkers with and modifies as a hobby. She tends to be fairly upbeat, though somewhat perverted, enjoying teasing people for fun. However, she can also be quick to anger, acting rashly and without thought if provoked, and not slow to start a fight.

    Char. Name: Tareek Vas Bloodwing
    Bio: A powerful Dragon for his race, Tar lead a very solitary life. The extensive life of a Dragon lonely and dragged out for him. He was born on a cliff-side, hatched from an egg and left to fend for himself earlier then most of his kin. Mother and father unknown to him, he focused on surviving rather then living. As an adult Dragon, he met his good Dragon-buddy Darcia. Helping and more often then not protecting one another in fights and disputes. Often caused by Tar's favor of alcohol. Darcia and Tar didn't meet often, but they were friends. In later years, Tareek had gathered himself into a wondering Dragon. Soon enough finding himself at the power of Queen Xertra. Swearing himself to her. He now hangs around his Queen, keeping to himself, but staying near her.

    Character name: Kara
    Gender: Female
    Bio: Kara was born and raised with the intent to be the future queen of the changeling hive. She was taught every aspect of being a changeling. Every chaos spell, every shapeshift, every technique for converting other daemen to changlingism. And she for the most part excelled. Yet all good times come to an end, and the changeling race itself came to face an end to the good times. Humans discovered their existence, and began an utter genocide of the changelings, all but pushing the changelings to the brink of extinction. The few remaining changelings went into hiding, seeking out the most remote land and deepest holes to hide in. Kara experienced all of this first hand as the next in line to the throne. She also saw how it completely changed her mother into a shadow of what she once was. This would lead to her mom trying to lead a last ditch attack, not against the humans, but the daemons of a pocket dimension. Kara couldn't bear to see it end like this, and hated what her mother turned into, so she killed her in the heat of the battle and ordered a mass retreat immediately following. Setting up camp in one of the last remaining hives, she would spend the next several months rebuilding, trying to bring in any remaining changeling to her hive. She sought to rebuild relations with the daemon even by holding a fighting tournament. In the end however, the humans found her hive. And they nuked the shit out of it. Surviving, Kara set off on a journey through the human world, trying to leave her failure behind her. She traveled and lived among those who destroyed her race for a long time, and now she has decided that her best course of action is to return to the castle her mom once attacked

    Misc. Info: She is a changeling supremacist plain and simple. She is probably one of the highest level chaos magic users to ever of existed, yet she is physically very weak and is has very little endurance. She also has lost her entire hive, her army, and most of her power in that regard.

    Character name: Narsaadi (Adi)
    Gender: Female
    Bio: Having lived a few centuries before Cornelios, Narsaadi was one of the original developers of the jet gliders that were used by the pilots of the village. Being a capable pilot, she was able to help her village by performing search and rescue missions and reconnaissance. Toward the end of her life, she noticed how the elves that were more aligned with the highelves (magic) were starting to make the village a more magic-based and efficiency-based area rather than a close, family-like unit; attuned with nature. She did not know why but she felt that this would be her people's downfall in the future.
    Major Skill: Adi has a major connection with the winds. While normally she only uses her power to find favorable air currents and track storms; she can also use her abilities to sense people coming toward her. In times of great distress she can use her ability to “influence” the winds to help her by pushing back enemies and/or catching herself or friends from falls.
    Minor Skills: Just like any elf in her village during her time, Narsaadi has received basic training in her arm-mounted crossbow. She also knows basic survival/gathering skills for being half Woodelf.

    Character name: Cornelios (Corn)
    Gender: Male
    Bio: Being born in a time unfavorable to his abilities, Cornelios was teased by his fellow orphans for perusing technology instead of the traditional magics. He was inspired from the tales of the pilots of old who were able to help people despite having no powerful magic to assist them. During his village's demise as the magic barriers shattered, the village elder, who also cared for him as a child; revived both him and Narsaadi since they were the only two jet-glider pilots in elven history with the skills to escape their appending doom and continue the old legacy of their small village.
    Major Skill: Being fascinated by both human and elven vehicles and machines from a young age, Cornelios is extremely skilled in the art of operating machinery and performing advanced diagnostics on a vehicle in less than optimal condition. However, advanced electronics mystify him and he believes most of them are magic. Ex: Smartphone = Wtf is this!?
    Minor Skills: Corn has basic knowledge in life magics, however he can usually only use them in unity with his mechanical creations; he sometimes makes simple little golems & robots to entertain himself and others. This connection with life energy also allows him to temporarily “connect” with a vehicle to enhance its performance; prolonged use of this weakens him unfortunately. He also has basic survival/gathering skills (not as good as Adi's) for being half Woodelf.

    Character name: Crazyon
    Gender: Male
    Bio: Crazyon was the first of the Forgotten ones. He had been imprisoned for stealing souls from both Heaven and Hell, he had fed on the souls, and had sent the remnants of those souls to a place where neither could reach, the Abyss. Due to this, he was imprisoned within a small orb and thrown into the place where he had damned so many souls, the Abyss. Unfortunately, due to the energies within the Abyss, the magic used for containing Crazyon failed and he broke free of the damnable orb causing him to float aimlessly around in the abyss for an undetermined amount of time. The orb itself had drained Crazyon of almost all his energy, which had dispersed throughout the entire Abyss...To be absorbed by the numerous souls he had placed here. These souls slowly grew and transformed into various creatures who then crawled their way out of the abyss, and into the world. Crazyon, delighted by this, hitched a ride on one of these creatures, drained it of its essence, and began to look around to the place he had come out in. He then noticed that numerous years had passed while he was imprisoned, even though it felt as if it were only a year or two.
    Satisfied with knowing that he caused all of this, he went to a place where he knew he'd fit in.

    Major Knowledge: Crazyon is skilled in many fields of science. He is also very skilled in magics pertaining to decay and poison.

    Crazyon is a rather odd fellow, he tends to nod off when bored, and he wears a series of strange items, all of which serve to mask his magic. He's very shady around angelic beings and high demons, and tries to avoid reapers at all costs. These reasons are unknown to most, but he does it for fear they might capture him again.
    He is known as the Faceless one among the Forgotten ones, but keeps his identity a secret most of the time.

    Bio

    As a young child, Lumin was exploring a forest far from his home. As soon as he stepped inside, he set of a trap laid by a devious demon, and an ice barrier completely surrounded the forest, effectively trapping him. He was left completely alone in the middle of a large forest, and had to survive on his own. At first, it was tough. He knew nothing about how to survive on his own, and it was full of trial-and-error. Eventually though, he started getting more comfortable where he was. It was around this time that the magic within him awoke. It started with a very warm feeling in his tail, making it feel like a furnace, and slowly spread to his whole body. He passed out, and woke up with his hands frozen over. Lumin freaked out at first, but then realized that he could control the ice. He had awoken himself fully. From that point on, his magic ability only grew. He had by that time explored the entirety of his forest, and was ready to move on. He broke the barrier, and headed south, looking for any sign of, well something. He really didn’t know what he was looking for, after being away from the world for so long. Eventually, after a while of walking, he came upon a traveling group of Usagi. When he asked them if there was anywhere he could go, they said that the TDS city would be a good place to go. So, with his destination in mind, he set of again. Finally, after a long time of traveling, he has made it to the castle.

    Misc. Info: Also, he is able to pack in more food than the combined efforts of two fully grown dragons. Luckily, after having to make his own meals for so long, he has become an excellent chef. As a side effect of being isolated for most of his life, he is curious of the other sex, and is completely ignorant of other species of Demon's and all of the info that comes with that knowledge. Boy, is he in for a surprise.

    Character name: Kitten ((Arawn))

    Gender: Male

    Age: 14

    Bio: Formerly known as Arawn, he was a child of a doctor in a human village. However, he was converted into a neko, and the knew if he tried to stay in his home village he would be executed. He fled and wandered until he found the castle. Hoping for a cure to his problems, he trusted a being known as Crazyon. However, rather turning back human, he had his memories completely wiped. The new entity that was left was Kitten. Being a wild child, he is interested in learning things and doing pranks. His impulsive nature led him to stealing, creating toys out of random objects, and pranking anyone and everyone with anything and everything. He eventually found a surrogate mother in Kalissa and serves as an unofficial apprentice to Lilly.

    Major Knowledge: Nothing. The fresh entity Kitten isn't a master of any actual skills.

    Minor Knowledge: He has a surprising ability at making pranks. He has minor healing magic and knows a couple magic runes. Unlike most neko's, Kitten can actually use his tail apprehensively to a minor degree. He cheap shots most of his foes!

    Character name: Rex Shedden

    Gender: Male

    Bio: Rex doesn't remember how he came into this world, all he remembers was waking up in a large pool of blood, in a lab recently abandoned and one hell of a headache. All that was on him was a lab coat, jeans, blue shirt, shoes, and duffel bag of medical and engineering supplies, and an IMI Desert Eagle with a half empty clip. He remembers shambling out of the lab with the dull, red emergency lighting, past the blown open blast doors and strewn corpses. Out of the large hole in the wall, and into the clear, yet blinding light. Without any knowledge of who he was except for a name tag on his coat and on the inside of his underpants, he walked off to do what he guessed he was best at, science! With his knowledge of the land and stray gossip, he headed towards the castle and town owned by the demon syndicate.

    Major Knowledge: Rex has spent most of his time after waking up, and presumably his time before, studying and practicing engineering and science. He possesses no connection to any type of magic, preferring to make his own bootleg magicks.

    Minor Knowledge: Rex possesses minor medical knowledge, but will gladly pass himself off as a world class doctor. He can understand how to piece you back together, but perhaps not with the best of care....... or missing a few tissue samples.

    Gender: Male
    Bio: Siegfried was born from the soul of a Serpent Man blacksmith. He emerged from the abyss in a very compromising location, the human world. He managed to disguise himself with his cloak and find a job as a blacksmith in a small town where he hid and worked for a surprising amount of time. Well, a surprising amount of time until his discovery. He fled the town with only his smithing supplies and an old zweihänder. Siegfried managed to escape the lynching crew by fleeing into the nearby forest. When he emerged on the other side, he found a location that didn't seem right, a large walled city filled with other non-humans.

    Major Knowledge: From the knowledge gifted by the soul he was born from and continued experience, he is a gifted blacksmith. Siegfried is even able to incorporate souls and other life essences into his works due to his races connection to souls.

    Misc. Info:Siegfried is made up mostly from tungsten, giving him his black coloration and large density. Siegfried is therefor dreadfully afraid of large bodies of water due to his large weight (He can't swim, at all. Not even life rafts help, just sinks them).

    Bio: Petra was born human, and grew up as a human until her twenties. She met with Terra during that time. They quickly started dating, but problems seemed to appear, eventually leading to a breakup that changed Petra completely. The two then went away and never saw eachother again, even though Petra remembered her dearly, and was very depressive. She usually took pills for it. One night, a group of succubi and incubi attacked, impregnating and transforming people into one of them, or taking their souls. Petra was one that was supposed to have her soul taken and eaten, but an incubus stood up and convinced the others to transform her into a succubus. Not accepted by the humans anymore, she became even more depressive and wandered off. During her search for a place to live, she found out in an accident that she could control magic, but only via an external magic source, as she didn't have a magic aura, and was blocked from using magic naturally. Seeking for a means of quickly using her magic as a self defense, she found an gentle alchemist, which at first refused to help her. But after a few days, he trusted her and inserted two alchemical circles in her hands in the means of a very painfull process, which scarred them. However, using too much magic makes her hand bleed, and as such, she only uses magic in fights she is forced into.
    Major Knowledge: Although her knowledge is minimal, her handseals can make her release quite powerful magic spells. The results are disasterous and really, really dangerous, with 20% chance of death if she doesn't have the energy needed. The combo is Crystal.

    Bio:
    Orphaned after birth, Sam was taken in by a group of scientists and grown by what she assumed to be her family. She was, in truth, part of the New World Project. An ominous name to an simple project, NWP was an project designed by governments worldwide to create "specially-designed humans". Those "humans" were to be trained extensively and tutored under the highest education to specialize in all kinds of fields. What was Sam supposed to be? An maiden. The perfect maiden, to be exact. Of course, you can't just create an perfect human, so they failed. What they didn't fail at, is make her actually very good. She was trained and raised to be near-perfect at multi-tasking, cleaning, and do ordinary chores most people aren't up to do all day. She was also given psychological training and counseling, due to the extreme nature of her training, it was only reasonable to prevent her from developing a trauma. After she was ready, she was sent to various masters and mistresses worldwide. Her reputation was... reasonable, but there were many other maidens and servants around, and just one couldn't possibly stand up above all others. Even then, she worked quite a lot, and built up much more experience than she did at the NWP. However, just before coming to the Syndicate Kingdom, her days as an human came to an end. Her last master was, unknowingly, an actually very powerful alchemist, of which she drank one of his "permanent condition potions". Her appearance didn't change much, but she was quite shocked to find out she had fox ears and a tail. Scared of being judged by other humans, and being kicked off by her former owner, she spent days wandering alone through the world, covering up her special, new body parts. She would, eventually take the path that would lead to the TDS Kingdom.

    Bio: Before entering the castle, harnackam woke up half frozen within a beached iceberg that had been wandering the oceans for thousands upon thousands of years. He knew only his name, seeing as his body had been highly damaged from the endless entrapment. He broke out of the iceberg and managed to fly to the Demon Syndicate and stabilize himself before succumbing to his internal injuries. He was later transformed into a purple monkey by a malfunctioning transformation potion and then was then forcefed a growth potion that made him twice as large, keeping his proportions.
    He is an amnesiac with great knowledge of magical runes and artifacts. He trusts that he can get out of any situation with enough preparation and knowledge. He is overconfident of his intelligence, often claiming that he does not know anyone who can match his intellect. He is most comfortable sleeping in areas that have no unprotected entrances, as he is is paranoid that someone will steal his property or assassinate him while he is asleep. He has no morals whatsoever when it comes to using dark magic. He keeps his promises and deals. Overall he is incredibly honest, which makes it even more shocking when he betrays someone for his own benefit.

    Major Knowledge: Runic magic. harnackam was once a professor of runic magic at a draconic academy of magic. He has thorough knowledge of all types of runes, and the ability to use runes very effectively.

    Bio: Mercenary, infiltrator and "bodyguard" for Lilly Rosenhearth. Iota was an expert sharpshooter as a human, a trait that's server her well as a renegade changeling. She's currently "contracted" to protect Lilly and her experiments, which is more of an excuse to hang with her significant other in the castle. She has both a room there and a safehouse in the town, and she has an agreement with the castle guards to borrow weapons from the armory when needed.

    Bio: A gifted student, Arrin was certified in both military and Alchemic fields. While he wanted to be a part of the military, he hatched a plan on becoming an alchemist as well and using his knowledge in both fields to stand out amongst his peers. (Competition was fierce) Said peers laughed at him for his naivety. Being employed in the military, he quickly came to the realization that they were right. Conditions were rarely favorable for making alchemic concoctions during standard operations, and with no war, there was nothing to use his combative potential on anyway. It was only through sheer luck that he was eventually promoted to head of the alchemy division after he accidentally invented an optic lens that "causes madness".

    Made from a red concoction that causes a similar temporary effect along with the shiny silver flakes off of a certain plant focused through a clear surface, (ie glass) They cause dizziness in the beholder of their reflected light, which gets worse the longer they are exposed to it. They have since been weaponized as contact lenses. In-practice, this generally only ends up throwing off people who stare into their eyes. Because it is a relatively new product, it isn't standard in the military yet. (It will take a few years to properly mass-produce due to the materials needed)

    While it didn't actually take much to get promoted, he found that his new position wasn't all it lived up to be. Sure, he had authority as head of a division, but the depth of his influence was actually quite shallow. On the upside, his position allows him much more freedom and he doesn't need to take part in the grunt work he was normally tasked with.

    Major Knowledge: Military training, making him proficient in the use of a variety of firearms, particularly rifles. His melee weapon of choice is a large bayonet affixed to a rifle. It is less akin to a normal bayonet for poking people with and used more in slashing manner, as if a sword or short Naginata. (Also standard of his military training, albeit him using a Bayonet and using it the way he does were both his choice.) Professional alchemist.
    Minor Knowledge: An astronomer, an astrologer, and a chef, all of which are dropped hobbies. Pretty good at conversation; debate, negotiation, public speaking and the like.

    Bio: Angie was always strange. When she was young she was always agressive, picking fights with people for no good reason and just generally being a trouble maker. Eventually, after sending several people into comas, she was cast out of the village. After spending nearly two weeks homeless and alone, she was picked up by a group of mercenaries who saw her potential. For years she trained, taking out high value targets like political figures and gang leaders. On a routine mission she took a blow to the left side of her body which due to her brittle bones ended up leading to a broken arm and three cracked ribs. After taking out her targets she realized her communicator was broken, worst of all, she had no idea where she was.

    Bio: Xertra, or who was once known as Terra lived a fairly normal human life, for awhile. She had her girlfriend, yeah, she's bi, a small family. They weren't the most fortunate but they got by. But whether it was planned or not, after leaving her girlfriend Jasper one night, she was caught in an alleyway by what she soon found out to be a succubus. Terra's soul was spared and turned to a succubus, though her memories were removed. She had forgotten her family, her girlfriend, and anyone she had a connection to, she just felt the need for souls. Her name had slipped her mind, though small fragments of her memories stayed. With what she remembered, she names herself Xertra. Though not to long after, she was met by a changeling, this changeling offered her a position as a queen. Terra loved being the one on top, therefore this position was a good place for her, she took the place happily. Though this position brought her to meet many others.

    Major Knowledge: Creation magic. Due to her very high ego, Xertra loves to make herself look big. This being both mentally and physically. Xertra can recreate large parts of her body out of stone or metal from the earth. She can also use her magic to create weapons or even for practical uses, but she has people to do that for her.

    Minor Knowledge: Even as a human, Terra loved fire. Therefore she does have the power to control fire. Xertra also has an interest in body modification through alchemy and studies it as her past time.

    Bio: Zeta once worked under the old queen as her first hand servant. Though her daughter Luna ab bused her and used her as a toy. Keeping quite for as long as she could she dealt with her situation. At the same time, she was in a relationship with the queens private assassin, Darcia. Once the queen was overtaken, she used the situation to escape, but this led to her losing contact with Darcia and being left alone. She spent two years, forced to work as a lone succubus which never went very well considering she worked as a high ranking under a hierarchy for a long time. After around two and half years, she learned of a new queen and decided to take her chances, but was attacked by Luna on her way there, her wings being torn off and her entire body is pieces. Though she was saved by members of the castle and turned to a cyborg. She now works as a fairly high ranking member under the Demon Syndicate under the new queen Xertra.

    Major Knowledge: Zeta has a love for jewels and sparkly things, this led her to being able to control gems and crystals and being able to make shapes and forms with them. Due to the fact of her control over diamonds, she's been known to have a better defensive ability then anyone else in the Syndicate.

    Minor Knowledge: Due to her being forced to live with runic marks over her body for the rest of her life, she was forced to learn at least a little into runic magic. Zeta also has extensive knowledge in a lot of areas. She can multitask very easily and can keep control of most situations with ease.

    Bio: Miku grew up with a strange condition, her body is incredibly warm. This lead to more problems then not, forcing her to wear slightly less clothes then socially acceptable. She was raised near the castle and was well known for her condition, but was very sheltered because of it. After so long, even though she was weak, she wanted adventure and made her way, following Cynthia to the hidden town in the demon dimension. Though soon after, Kara had arranged for her to become a changeling, giving her more of a grasp on magical powers.
    Major Knowledge: Due to Miku's condition, she does have a high affinity with fire. She can control fire, though still isn't too string in comparison to others.
    Minor Knowledge: Miku is a very good tracker and has a strong sense of direction. It's not very often she gets lost. She also has very good survival skills. Despite being weak, she can take care of herself well.

    Bio: Darcia worked under the old queen. He was born a dragon, so never knew the experience of being a human, though he learned to change forms at a young age. He was trained and grown inside the castle, so know the layout and the people well and worked under the old queen, not that he enjoyed it, she was a bit bossy. He also was dating Zeta. he was unaware for a long time that Luna had been messing her in their free time. But grew angry when he learned the truth. He knew Zeta wasn't to blame. When the old queen died he and Zeta tried to escape, it he was caught in a battle with many guards to help her escape, they were separated. Zeta had thought he died, guess not.
    Major Knowledge: Darcia has a huge interest in music. He's fairly clever when it comes to technology, but nothing shows it more then his wrist piece he wears. It's similar to small computer. He can use it hack computer systems, though it's biggest use to play music through the speakers on the palm of his gloves, loud enough to easily damage someones ears without proper protection, of course he brings sound insulated headphones wherever he goes.
    Minor Knowledge: Due to his past work he did, he's very skilled with unarmed fighting, finding that weapons would be too noisy anyway (ironic huh?).. Either then that, he's also been trained to keep quite and stealthy when on missions.

    Bio: In Drosera's younger years, she was often picked on for not studying basic magic and runes. She decided to put all of her effort into making new devices and technology and as much as it was an appropriate study, it was odd in comparison to other high elves studied. Because of this, she was often shunned and moved from a couple locations. She never talked much, less then usual high elves. Though what friends she has, she treasures them. She's simply on a quest to advance her technology and prove that she's stronger then what other elves think she is.
    Major Knowledge: Though not in heavy study of any particular magic, she can use most kinda of magic as long as it's connected through her wrist piece. She can quickly learn to control that she's put the effort into learn.
    Minor Knowledge: From being a high elf, she does have knowledge in the studies of both runic drawings and potions, though she isn't as good at either of those in comparison to her tech.

She eventually decided to stay with them, also deciding that since her other usagi left her. Darcia taught her to play more tactically which led her to working with his small group.

    Bio: An ex-military suppression specialist (fancy term for bullet sponge), Tomas was born in a quiet bayside town in the north. His parents were a war veteran and a radio weatherwoman. His early childhood was spent as a playground negotiator, and he could normally be found either solving his classmates' disputes or making them himself, depending on his mood. He had good grades throughout his schooling, although there was nothing to write home about except maybe his performance on the debate team. Despite his father's advice, when Tomas graduated from high school, he went straight to the military, and from there, to the Ten Year War. He came back to nothing. His once-fiancee had left him, his financial assets were practically dried up, and he moved to less legal means to keep paying the rent. It inevitably went sour. Tomas found himself on the run from the local gangsters, and hopped a military transport for wherever it was going. That turned out to be the human town near the cursed forest, a fairly quiet town as settlements nearby dimensional conduits go, in the east of the country. When the events of the RP begin, Tomas has been living in the town for about three weeks.

    Major Knowledge: Hardened soldier: Tomas's extensive experience of the theatre of war has made him an expert with most firearms, as well as negotiating and general offensive and defensive combat, including first aid, explosive ordinance disposal, and melee combat against one to three targets.

    Minor Knowledge: Musician: Tomas learned the guitar while in the forces and can sometimes be seen busking on busier street corners.

    Xertra stepped into the club, what club? Well herself, Zeta and Darcia decided to take a group to the nearby human city to get a good taste of fresh human souls for a change. Of course all of them, were dressed to hide themselves. At this point, Zeta's markings just looked like cool tattoos. Darcia not being here for souls just came for a good time. The three stepped inside, the loud music ringing in their ears. This was Xertra's kind of place.

    'Well, this is gonna be an interesting experience,' Lumin thought to himself, as the TDS City came into view. 'Doesn't look like to much further now, I should make it by sunrise.' He hopped down from the rock he was viewing from, and shouldered the pack he had gotten from those rabbit people earlier. 'After seeing those, people(?), I wonder what other wondrous and..... strange things I'm gonna see in this city. Kinda frightened to find out now.....' He shivered, and then headed in the direction of the city again, scaling down the hillside. 'Well, there's no time like the present. Let's press on!' He repositioned the pack and sped down the hill, laughing from the exhilaration of a whole new world for him to explore, and new 'people' to meet. 'I really hope I'm not out of touch with everything after being away so long....'

    harnackam woke up in one of the many unoccupied rooms of the castle. He checked over to the door to check if there was a runic lock on the door.
    Suddenly realizing that there wasn't a runic lock or trap in place on the door harnackam swung his arm around to prop himself up. The sound of breaking glass and immediate pain in his forearm startled him, causing him to jerk out of the bed and hit his head on the floor.
    He carefully moved away from the bed nursing his head, and looked to his right arm. It had a few small shards of dark glass imbedded in it, and was quite painful. Standing up he saw that the bed was covered in bottles of alcohol, and a broken bottle of red wine.
    He brushed the glass off and scolded himself for passing out without properly warding the door. He grabbed his stuff and walked out of the room into one of the castle hallways.

    "That's what I'm talkin about!" Iota replied, pulling Lilly with her into the croud of dancers. The changeling didn't seem like type to dance, but she was always a bit of a partier. It wasn't long before she was moving to the beat while trying to get Lilly to do the same. It was about time the succubus got out of that dusty old lab, Iota almost feared for her sanity back there.

    He had been planning on creating someting that could serve as a general tavern, but mixed with the complete freedom of trade under a single roof...Thus trades of all kinds go on in the lower levels of his building, but to most of those who were in it right now, they were simply enjoying their drinks.

    Crazyon smirked under his mask, and continued to sit in a secluded area in the tavern while pondering if he should "Disappear" for a while, for he had forgotten one's running his business, so he could take a leave of absence if he desired too...

    Having almost made it to the city in much shorter of a time than he thought, Lumin began looking around more carefully for any other strange people. He finally spotted a small group of demons headed into the city. He had expected strange, but this was a whole new level of it. Just a small group, and already he had seen women with tails and wings, people with a snake body beneath the waist, someone made completely out of what looked like slime, the list went on. Every step, he saw something new. It was a frightening but also enlightening experience. Once he got to the gates of the city, he realized that he had no idea what he would find inside, and all he had was a bag of food, some strange currency that the rabbit people gave him, and the clothes on his back. He wished himself luck, and then walked through the gate.

    She then jumped a bit and stumbled, glancing over to Zeta with an embarrassed expression as she headed off, though not quite noticing that, in her surprise not noticing she'd slipped up on her shapeshifting, her tail having once more appearing due to her lack of practice with shapeshifting.

    It's been 3 days. You sent him out to find goldenglows, a relatively rare plant breed that just so happened to crop up just outside of monitored territory. You weren't ordered to get any. You didn't even need any. They were more a luxury for your arsenal, and you thought there would be no harm in indulging yourself by flexing your newly acquired privileges. I mean, why not? You deserve something as a consolation prize, and the authority to send people out to do menial tasks seems to be what you're gonna get.

    He's probably dead and this is all your fault.

    Regardless, as a problem you started, you figure it's best for you to take care of it yourself. With your rifle strapped over your backpack and your silly flasks and vials squirreled away into numerous pockets, you set off to the area you sent him off to.

    Funny thing about goldenglows. They're bright, golden flowers, but they only seem to grow around large concentrations of paranormal activity. Maybe they feed off ectoplasm, you don't know. You're an alchemist, not a botanist, but the point remains that it's plausible that that soldier-whom you've already forgotten the name of, is dead or worse right now. Perhaps if you're lucky, he just defected.

    Trekking through the bamboo forests, you're reconsidering how you conduct your business around it. At least normal forests have unique formations to go off of, in here it looks the same no matter what direction you turn or how far you've gone. You knew it would be easy to get lost in here, but really, it's like a god damn labyrinth.

    It takes you maybe an hour, but when the bamboo starts thinning out and making way for trees, you're made certain you're going in the right direction, give or take 90 degrees. Your pessimistic suspicions are invalidated about an hour later when you finally find a singular goldenglow and another in the distance. Considering you might not even find a body, these are more or less what you are here for.

    You know... since you're already here... might as well...

    Ripping their perennial stems out, you start to harvest every goldenglow in sight, ripping their helpless bodies out of the ground and tucking them neatly into your backpack. Every time you move onto the next one, another shows up in your peripheral vision, and by the 12th goldenglow, you're starting to wonder if they grow in such segmented formations normally. As you are wondering, you notice not a single goldenglow, but an entire trove of them in the distance.

    Jackpot.

    You're seriously going to have to find out why exactly these plants grow the way they do, but for now you just focus on ripping out as many of them as possible.

    And then you hear the crackling of ice.

    You spun around to see pillars of ice blossoming forth from the ground into columns that surround you for 270 degrees, increasing in height counter-clockwise and blocking off any direct path away. Through the treeline emerges a buxom, scantily-clad demon. Having slightly more than a scintilla of knowledge on the matter of other non-human races, you recognize this to (probably) be a Succubus. Or something. Something magical. And sexy.

    You aren't exactly thinking about the potential danger here objectively. You recognize that as a fact and down an elixir for occasions such as these. When you finish it and notice the red tint to the vial, you realize it was the wrong elixir. Hell, it's not even an elixir. This? This is some prime crazy shit. An ichor of rage is a highly situational item that blah blah blah you're fucked.

    You're about to root around for something to neutralize it followed by an elixir to prevent from being charmed by the succubus, but you're stopped by an intense aroma that assails your nostrils. Sickly-sweet and utterly intoxicating, you can only describe the scent as pheromones. You acknowledge at the back of your mind that you're being manipulated and that you'll regret your actions later, but at the moment you just don't care. Really, why would you?

    She doesn't even need to say anything. She knows she's got you, and with a mere gesture, you're following her.

    All caution abandoned, all objectives meaningless, you can only indulge your eyesight as she leads you through the forest and eventually to a large wall of what you can only call a citadel. A singular wave and you're led through, down a winding path and eventually to a lightly inhabited area. Through back-alleys and questionable neighborhoods, you've lost track of all time before you're finally led into a cavernous abode the likes of which you've never seen. Like a haunted house or poorly-tended manor, it's both decrepit and luxurious at the same time. Of course you're only afforded a cursory glimpse before the woman continues to lead you deeper into the place.

    She eventually invites you into what you can only tell to be the master bedroom. At the far end lies a canopy bed adorned in golden silk. She takes up a seat at the foot of the bed before beginning to disrobe. Before you can actually feast your eyes however, she points off to the right, to a corner of the room you never noticed before.

    "I need you to take out the trash first."

    Lying dead in the corner of the room is a young Usagi cadet, as clear from his uniform. As you begin to pick up the body however, you realize that it's the very same cadet you sent out to retrieve goldenglows.

    And for some reason this just makes you incredibly angry. This son of a bitch not only shirked off his shit with a succubus, but he probably fucked her too.

    And that really, really does not sit well with you. So unwell in fact that you immediately drop his worthless body and hurl a certain potion at the whore demon. Reason and logic is lost on you. Nothing but a jealous rage remains.

    The potion hits without a hitch, dousing the woman in its essence. Confused but recognizing that her ruse has been abolished, she immediately brings forth swirling vortexes of cold, which she'd probably throw at you or otherwise do something with if it weren't for the potion working its magic. As the ice swirls, it melts near her skin into water colder than ice. Dropping the small blizzards she prepared in equal parts surprise and painful discomfort, you immediately retrieve your rifle. Without a second of hesitation you aim and pull the trigger, but it was stopped cold by a thick but quickly melting wall of ice. The abandoned blizzards and general ice magic seem to be creating a pool of salt water on the ground. Not about to let her escape, you start firing rapidly. This bitch is going to pay. Besides, you'd probably just be officially tasked with killing her later if you didn't now. Already cracked and suffering structural damage, the wall of ice protecting her from your rifle is quickly poked through by a salvo of bullets. Even as she tries to flee out of a window, covering herself with more walls of ice, she is quickly shot down. Of course, you don't stop there. Your anger supersedes all else, and against your better judgement you end up firing bullet after bullet into the corpse, even stopping to reload, then continuing to fire until the body is an unrecognizable bloody mess in a really cold, red pool.

    And that is when you finally calm down.

    Looking around, you find yourself irritated by the littlest of things- an itchy neck, plastic roses, etc. It doesn't take a genius to recognize that you aren't in a proper state of mind. To top it off, you're quite tired. You've been traveling all day without break for something as dumb as goldenglows, which, really? Kind of makes you want to punch something.

    Now you're just plain being ridiculous. You know yourself. You don't randomly punch things, nor shoot up dead bodies. You know this, and it pisses you off.

    Fuck ichors.

    You decide to sleep it off, dead body still in the room or not. A couple of potions later and you're out like a light. Perhaps when you wake up you'll be in a more legitimate state of mind, yes?
