Swords or Guns?

at this point, i wouldnt fear the sword itself but rather its wielder. meeting a dude that gigangtic would freak me out more

I want a Gunsword. Think Bayonet/Halberd attachment, only awesome.
But since it's "take only one", I'd take the gun.

Then shoot the guy and take the sword, too.

If there's an alternate fire button such as in Dead Space, then the main attack would be shooting and alt fire would be stabbing.
That way I can get both a gigantic sword and an oversized gun.

Imagine, dual wielding Gunswords.

I would use guns especially if you can kill someone from 10 miles away .

 

I choose guns personally. I love having the ability to snipe an unsuspecting monster from far far away. And my nice trusty shotgun works awesome when they try to pounce on meh.

 

That seems extremely unwieldy.

I'd say sword. It takes a lot of disipline and skill to use a sword properly. THe sword has always been more elegant and the gun has always been quick and lethal, but the gun lacks the respect of a warrior and his sword. The gun is the embodiment of laziness, a goal humanity has always had.

most people want both but i have a better ancer... NONE!

fighting with fists is good since you can run up faster then ever before without carying anything and kick someone is the face. ( Think about Rock Lee )

( against a gun fighter ) and for those who like dodgeing then run in go for a few kicks and punches then turn you body swiftly leap back and start matrixly dodgeing and go closer untill the foot sweap trip then then jump 50 feat in the air and come down and kick em id the face ( boot to the head )

ok well if i had to chose out of sword and gun i would chose sword, reasons why

1. if someone unleashes RAGE!!!!!! then if there a gunner what more can they do with rage, what pull the trigger harder???
with a sword or fist you can hit harder, faster, better, stronger

2. the style of useing swords/fists is better

3. Fists for defence u dodge
swords for defence you parry
gun for defence you yell out " LOOK, A BIRD " and runs off

4. guns are knida pussy unless u shoot one arm of while u do it

Hmm the ability to pick off large groups of enemy's when yards away, or being able to get up close and personal with a adversary's face.

Probably the later so I can hurl a insult at his face, take a gander at my avatar.

I think I would carry a sword around just because people with swords look bad-ass. But I would probably end up shooting people in the face.

To sum up, carry a big sword, only use little guns.... Kind of like..
