Starbound changelogs and release notes

Can you guys make it so if you move the in game menus and close them, they reopen where you moved them too? All that screen space, and the inventory window keeps opening up in the middle of the screen. Thanks, I'm loving the game!

 

Please please please do this! It's a source of endless frustration.

 

I don't think there's any devs specifically in this thread. We're just concerned citizens.

 

I thought Mister Green could pass this on for us. Any suggestion as to where I should post about this?

 

Sadly removal of admin mode/commands was not added to the patch notes :/

 

They are aware of this my friend. This will probably be fixed soon too.

hi everybody, just a quick question - is there somewhere you can go to find out what they are "currently" working on (ie-upcoming patch information)? Or is the information only coming out once the patches are released? I'd like to know what i have to look forward to for the next patch. thanks.

 

While this site's news page should be the main source of development news, actually for the bleeding edge of what they're working on, you should check Starbound's Reddit and the various developers' Twitters (use the game's main channel as a starting point).

 

Anyone got any news about the next patch?

The devs have been pretty quiet for the past couple of days, having only shown some tidbits about mushroom people NPCs and mentioning Tiy's working on customizable key bindings. Nothing else, as far as I know.

Late game needs some balancing. A guard just hit me for 500+ damage. I'm in the best armor the game currently offers (Impervium), I shouldn't be getting one-hit. Another issue is that the healing items don't hold up at this point in the game. It takes 5 or 6 red stims to heal myself, or around 10 minutes in a bed. I'm really enjoying the game, but it's very frustrating on the tier 9 and 10 planets.

 

Beyond tier 4 nothing is balanced. its how it is. (until they actually implement them)
