    I only partially agree. Why not just ship wrecks -period- ? Why limit them to underwater ye olde/modern time seaships? Could have crashed or downed wrecks and abandoned ships on the planet's landmasses too! Why not in space too? derelict wrecks and such crashed into the sides of asteroids or just space graveyards of ships?

    Put in ...

    Also I think there should be different kinds of ship, humans probably were not using giant wooden boats on different planets, and i'm sure not every race on those planets used giant wooden boats...

    A shipwreck, deep underwater, or under the ice! With lots of hostile, giant, bug-like aliens roaming on board!
    One of the original crew members survived, deep in hybernation! In a room that is sealed off from the bugs!
    Will you be able to bust him/her out? Dun-dun-DUUUUUN!!!

    I can see a self-repairing, organic spaceship in deep sleep, buried underground! That would be a nice find!
