does infusion and the key counts as mechanics?

 

Meow, you rock. I was going to do this run already. Now i'm gonna do it EVEN MORE. haha.

I'd say no to the key and infusion just for simplicity's sake, though one might make the argument that the Explorer's Key uses technomagic to open chests' locks, and Infusion is all science-y being a vial of... whatever it is. Blood?
