Can I at least make you happy and tell you that there's a clan out there looking for robots? Digital Cloud.

 

1. We as in someone on the forums
2. Because I know there is going to be that ONE person who has thousands of guns (And that person will be me)
3. "Hoarders" meaning they keep everything they get, whether it is junk or not

I thought that clan was for computer AI, not physical robots...

While they did that, we made an impenetrable underwater base
You cant drain the lake, to do that you'd need to get near us, and we wont let that happen

To the topic! Racial armor gives me the ability to make an underwater base surrounded by high levels of radiation on a frozen planet. I am pleased.

 

Will radiation actually be an effect? If so, not only would that be awesome, but it leaves the question of whether or not there will be an armor set for radiation shielding. An entire base made up of radiated materials? Do want. Depending on the mechanics, radiation could be the new lava traps ...

 

I guess you're right. But what im tryin to say is that there arent really any special perks between different races, so choosing your race will only change your appearance.

 

Early in the game it will be important, since you get your racial armor before any other racial armor types. Depending on how long it takes to acquire the others, this could be very important. Later in the game though, your right, the difference is really only aesthetic. Unless of course each race's original homeworld / enemy type has unique loot ...

 

That would be cool. I'm hoping there's more of a difference between races than looks. It would make the game even more interesting, and would make choosing between races a whole lot harder
