Progression resets?

Hello,

Before I say anything I am just curious about something someone else told me, I'm not sure if this the plan, but apparently there will be progression resets every so often? While in beta/early access at least.

Just want to know if this is true, not really fussed. Knowing what the deal is with that, I can try out the different races and genders without not worrying so much about losing out on a lot of hours grinding with one character.
