Bug/Issue Problem yet again. Same thing as all the other times.

Title.

The same exact thing took place.

I'm playing game.

I turn off game.

I do stuff.

I come back.

I download mod.

I turn on game.

Characters: gone.

Mods: Also gone.

Completely. I went to "create a new character" just to check and I see no extended options for more races, or anything. My mods are suddenly gone.

This hasn't happened before.

I delete said-mod. (that I downloaded previously)

Go back.

Everything still gone.

Fantastic.

I check on the workshop to see if it's the same thing as before, still have Frackin Races downloaded and literally everything else I had previously.

I check my log, a few mods seem to be having trouble?

It says it can't load things like "Tabula Rasa", which has never given me problems beforehand. (Especially when I was playing the game a little while ago.)

Can't load some weapons from a mod I have.

can't load something racial relating to Florans.

Can't load some Avali tier item?

It also says it can't load a certain character. "cant load player uuid *insert letters and numbers here*"

I don't have any idea where this problem is suddenly coming from. Kinda feels like this problem just kinda shows up randomly every now and then for no good reason.

augh.... Any help will be appreciated, again.... (I really have no idea.)

 

Log is clear:

You only have TWO mods installed, no more, no "Character extension", no "Tabula Rasa", no "Frackin Races".

Only "AvaliTurrets" and "CStaff".

Re-download the mods and try again.

 

*Edit* My characters and mods are back in the game.

And I have no idea what I did to fix it. I didn't begin redownloading anything yet, although I was about to try downloading things again off of here.

I'll share my log again, incase someone else can figure out what I did, because I have no idea.

Problem fixed, as of now.

 

Ok, I've read your new log, let me explain what happened:

• You have 122 Workshop mods and 2 downloaded mods
• Something/someone (Perhaps Steam itself) has deleted your steam content (...\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\*)
• You now have 0 Workshop mods and 2 downloaded mods (First report)
• Steam checked the files, see the discrepancies and starts to re-download everything.
• You have again 122 Workshop mods and 2 downloaded mods. (Second report)

 

I thought something like that may have been happening.
