hoLY CRAP. You had SO MANY ITEMS. Am I missing something, or was the alpha like, really freaking easy? You're destroying anything i've done in the beta! Amazing job! also Y U NO Hardcore mode?

Um… I'm little bit outdated, but there's my humble run in RoR demo with miner on hardcore, this is level 4th I think.

So I got lucky in my first few drops which gave me a really nice foundation to kick some ass

Here's my new record..
I had 4 drills, every shot was going through every mob in a line, it was amazing..
I got instakilled by 2 cremators, probably all of their rocks thrown in my face at once.

 

I once had a run with 3 Atg Missile Mk IIs and 5 Atg Missile Mk Is... it was glorious.

Got careless and let those rocks smack my face.
With my cooldown reduction i could timestop with only 2 seconds between uses.

Ok, let's see some hardcore scores!! Normal mode is actually easy mode for anyone who has been playing this game for any significant amount of time. 9 times out of 10 if you play smart in normal mode you can easily become invincible by the time you reach the magma stage and then you just play until you get tired or bored or run into a bug or something. Plus in the last update hardcore got buffed and is going to be even harder!!

 

The alpha was really unbalanced. Hardcore mode makes it harder to get over the threshold, but as soon as you get a couple of jetpacks and damage buffs, you can pretty much live indefinitely. I'll be posting scores for the beta soon.

I Got Bored. I couldnt die standing still because of the green mushrooms healing 1200/s and I couldnt die jumping because of the mines and magma balls. I had to actually ACTIVELY hurl myself into the cremator bolts in order to finally die.

 

Yeah, normal mode is still too easy. You can always just walk around in lava to kill yourself.

 

I had too many vials to do that either. it woulda taken ages.

yeah, gonna see how far I can get in hardcore.
