PLEASE!!! I really need a way to chnge my undy colors (because they aren't visible during character creation) I want to change my haircut and color post creation as well I want to change my characters stance post creation, because, well dunno I am probably not born with a fixe one. I want to change my characters name (as it is used on some servers and would require rerolling an entire character just because of this, and also it simply sucks that we cannot decide toc hange it). there seriously should be a way, (maybe aside from gender) to alter the characters choices available at creation later in the game as well.
There's a character / inventory editing program called Starcheat, but I don't think it's updated to the current version of Starbound yet. Until it's updated, you could move all of your character's items from their inventory and ship onto a planet, write down the coordinates, and then fly there with your new revised character to pick up where you left off. But yeah, this is a feature that would be really nice to have in-game.
