My idea: Boss Gauntlet In this specialist arena, a player or team of players can take on a series of bosses in quick succession. This arena challenge would be very hard to beat, but would grant tremendous rewards to those brave few who can beat it. The final boss would be a creature or machine made specifically for the arena, which cannot be encountered elsewhere.
That's actually a pretty good idea, i can't believe I didn't think of that. haha I'll add it under suggestions until i get the time to elaborate on it.
Id really enjoy having traps as an option to be set up around the interior of the Colosseum, to add a bit of necessary caution while fighting. Does anyone know if traps are going to be included in the game?
I like the idea of one big planet-sized mega-arena. Not sure if I like having to build it though, I'd prefer it just come pre-loaded into your star map or something. Anyway I love how deep the PvP would seem with this and how many different options there are. I'm a pretty big fan of multiple PvP game modes and a Colosseum like this would be a perfect fit.
Assuming of course that the character data is saved online and you can't use inventory editors... maybe you can create characters that are saved online, and ony these can enter... I'm pretty sure you would just 'buy' it, like the devs described it for the other buildings. Also I LOVE the idea of creating your own match with monsters you have captured. I hope the devs find time to implement this idea.
So players have a planet they can go onto for the Arena? It's not necessarily an issue. It could be possible to have multiple but for simplicity's sake just pick a "Neutral Planet" or make flying to the Colosseum Safe and no PvP outside the Arena Grounds themselves. If you aren't in PvP it wouldn't be an issue at all.
If they don't add this element, I am sure we will still find a way to physically create a colosseum with wiring to release monsters upon those who step into the ring.
Now this is what I call PvP warfare. Also if we could sit in our own pentbox and watch the carnage unfold itself.
