Optimization?

    I've been following Starbound since it was announced - but the entire time I thought that the game would be able to run on even the crappiest of Mac computers. I have a mid-range Toshiba laptop, but unfortunately I've been consistantly getting less than 20 FPS during gameplay. All of my background programs are off, and I've tried running in GameBooster mode, as well as High Powered.

    Any ideas on how I can get the game to run faster?

    Exactly the same problem as me. I was told I would be able to run it smoothly but it seems I can't. For now. Also, the game has just been released, I'm sure they will optimize it sooner or later.

    2.66ghz duo core, 4 gb ram, Nvidia 560 TI, Desktop. I am also experiencing frame rate issues :( nothing game breaking, but makes combat difficult, and also moving/jumping
