Will you tie the need for food to difficulty? I'll be nice not having to really bother with it f you don't want to unless you go hardcore.
I think more emphasis should be placed on prepared food: 1. Have raw crops hunger restoration reduced. 1. Have prepared food take more resources to make 3. Give food a variety of super-cool status effects! With these three things, I think the hunger system could be taken to a very fun and rewarding level rather than mindless babysitting of your hunger bar.
Every progress post makes me want the release more and more. Also I forgot to commend you guys for finally getting steam announcement updates going with the Weekly Roundup thing. That really does help bring more people into what is going on behind the scenes, and lets everyone know they haven't been abandoned.
I hit a monster a day or two ago that didn't die from burn damage. . . and then became immune to all damage afterwards. Really looking forward to see all the changes in action! I hope nightlies stabilise soon, since at the moment it looks somewhat broken. Or even better, a release from unstable branch so I can update my server.
