Bug/Issue npcs seem to randomly explode

    when i play, about half of the npcs seem to, upon sight of a player, do the regular alert thing, stand there like what do i do now, then proceeds to explode with the force of a thousand suns, this seems to happen every single time, but for only about half of them, i am using mods, but i noticed it happening even without them, not sure what to do about it
