Just backup and replace the xnb files with these. They're just graphic edits of the furniture of each. The folders that hold them are TileSheets for Furniture and Craftables, and Maps and the main content folder for walls_and_floors. It needs to be in both to replace them (walls_and_floors in Maps and Content folders). I could do a few more, but I didn't want to edit all of the furniture.. and there's not a lot to be done with walls and floors.. since it's so limited on size, not much I can place on them.
It'd be nice for the stuffed bear to be a Snorlax (from pokemon, in case you didn't know, though I really don't see why you wouldn't). Other than that, it looks pretty good, though I'm not sure I'm going to download it just yet. I want to experience Stardew valley's original textures first.
If anyone has any other edits to furniture that's NES related, feel free to ask. I'm up for suggestions for additions to what I've done. It just has to be small stuff, as most of the furniture is only so many pixels wide. I've added a few more replacements in my mod, including the baby Metroid (replaced the singing crystal).
If we're extending into SNES and GBA, then maybe some things from MOTHER2 and MOTHER3? Ness' Phone (Dad) or a Happy Box would be cool to see
If they're small enough, most SNES and GBA things won't fit because SV has very limited space for pixels. Though I did manage to fit the Baby Metroid in placement of the singing crystal.
^Yeah, that's why I thought it was possible. These are the sprites respectively. Of course, the phone would be smaller but you get the gist.
Yeah, I looked it up earlier. I can put it in, in place of the decorative bowl.. as for a Happy Box, I'll see what I can do.
I finished the edits for the Happy Box and Phone from Earthbound/Mother. Here you go. I'll upload it later when I do a few more edits.
A few stray pixels were there, and i had to edit where the Happy box was.. but here it is all working fine. I'll upload the file tomorrow. I don't have great access to the net lately, so I won't be around too often for the month.
Alright, I'm finally done with the furniture that I wanted to change. I may eventually update it, and add stuff. I plan to do more floors and wallpapers as well as maybe some more hidden things in other furniture around the game.
