This should be easy. I will start on it when I get home from work. I figure it should be a head piece that lights up the whole screen with a green tint similar to the light from a green flashlight. I might even make a battery pack that has to be charged in a charging station on your ship. EDIT: If someone could create the graphics for the headpiece that would be awesome. I am thinking along the lines of something you would see in Splinter Cell. I will work on the code when I get home. EDIT #2: Oh, it's happening... I did this on my lunch break. When I get home from work I will clean it up and post it to the mods thread. It was easier than I thought!!!
If anything I think the lantern stick is underpowered. Yeah, I use it, but it's pretty dim. It makes sense in tier 1 'I'm stranded on a planet and have to make a stone pickaxe' Your durasteel kit should include floodlights and/or nightvision.
