Next update?

From what I saw in the update news, we're getting the ability to pilot our ships in space freely, land on space stations, stuff like that, right? Will we be seeing merchant ships flying around, mercenary ships, Pirate ships, etc, and will we have the ability to BE the pirates? I would love it so much to bring my avian crew aboard a merchant ship and plunder the loot!

 

Nobody but the developers know the answers to those questions, but there were some different colored ships in the preview that looked like they could be targeted.

 

I don't know is it possible but try seeing if they updated the nightly build with the space update

 

Nightly doesn't exist any longer.

Nightly does exsist technically, i've still got it on steam...

 

It's Unstable, its dead basically beacuse its just starbound but with more bugs being like 1-2 weeks faster than the bug free starbound

I'm honestly kinda keen to go into this update semi-blind as to what all is possible.

 

but... i litorally have the 'Starbound - Unstabled' still on steam... and it works. they might not use it anymore but that doesn't change that i have it still...

 

Nightly and Unstable aren't the same thing.

 

That is "Unstable", which currently is the exact same thing as Stable. Nightly is not available at this point in time.
