My First Day Playing Starbound (Report)

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but inside are bugs and others thing that I found to be odd things that occurred.

On topic:

When I first played the game was stuck on the Chucklefish screen (I'm aware that this is reported), about a couple minutes later I'm in the main menu. I play Singleplayer, name my character Pootnamehere (I know, it's not a good name ) and start.

I start off on a planet that has not so appealing edible plants some rose-like trees that provide material for bows then later on stumbling on an actual tree. I build my home into a cave just to save time.

I eventually get hunting and find some very deadly creatures and find one's headshot like this.

Later on, I go mining and on my way up I see something odd; it is somehow raining 50 meters below the surface, I move up to check if it's just the one spot but it may just be that the area not in the screen is air.

Later on, I find a Apex Research Lab on the same planet and decide to see if I could find a way to loot it without getting killed by the guards. I later on build a wall of dirt to scale the lab and look for any kind of container and end up looting some stuff from this object despite being on the other side of the wall.

I then decide to attempt to take on the lab full of Apex monstrosities, gun-wielding scientists, and guards. I then got clever by walling them then making a tiny slit where their feet are and shoot arrows . I then get in a firefight with one of the scientists and he shoots just above my head and continues on for a minute.

Later in the raid, the guard at one of the entrances is warning me to get away despite the fact I'm already inside. (Unfortunately I didn't get a screenshot of this odd occurrence.) I end up killing them with ease and eventually eliminate everyone in the lab, then looting all the furniture.
