I'm sure someone's brought this up at one point or another, but our spouse needs to be far more involved with the baby in some way too! Just mentioning the baby when you talk to your spouse isn't good enough! Maybe have it when your spouse goes into town, he/she could take the baby with them (obviously to nowhere dangerous ), or when at home maybe your spouse could pick the baby up and start rocking them back and forth; this of course would make the baby temporarily unavailable to the player. I'm still waiting for the child to leave the crib, but I'm sure there could be more interactions from the spouse with the child than what's already here. Please take this into consideration!
I would love love love to wake up and see Leah milling about the house with our baby on her hip, or taking him on walks with a stroller or baby carrier. For now she's always like "Hey, have you played with X child today?" and I'm like yeah, what about YOU?
