Race Meet the Psyliphs

Aha thanks. Pysliph pornography would be super exciting, watching a male and female sit beside each other in a meditative state.

 

Not bad, not bad. I can't see me playing one though. Too bland for my taste, even with tattoos and head implants.
Maybe work on the theme/design some more? Different colors that appear naturally, perhaps? They need more to them than "Psychic" and "Alien".
Also, while overall good, the armor and weapons do look a little off. Try to avoid weird looking lines, like the one running down your first gun*, and make sure that you shade outlines as well.

*That's more Minecraft style.

Also, I wouldn't mind having my race as a relation. I'll put yours in soon, along with a few others.

Loool the first gun was thrown together in a couple of seconds before bed, I do need to redo it.
And I mentioned a few times throughout the thread, I really AM trying to get more info and diversity out, I just have very very veeeryy little free time on my hands

Why thank you kind sir I think I've covered enough biology now, and plan to finally get into the culture section. The Psyliphs personality and behaviour hasn't been explained yet, and they're still kind of lacking an identity

 

Hey I was thinking, maybe you should keep that Egyptian clothing you had earlier and have their clothes more represent their field of study or work or even rank. Just a thought.

Yeah that's gonna be a thing, but the Egyptian clothing looks too spiritual, which the Psyliphs have no interest in

 

I saw that with a pair of horns you can look like batman!!!!dang I wish there was a batman icon.

I did I pretty crumby job animating it, but it's my first time trying to actually animate a robotic anything I'll definitely try and make it better eventually, But for now.. PSYLIPH MECH

 

Not bad Symp, I would advise making the legs go back when it walks though. So Design is good, animation needs some work. Not bad for your first try though.

 

Oh god no it's all terrible, and since I shaped the legs that way they can't really go back, ahaha. I'll have to come up with something else instead of those weird things

 

You can keep it, why not just have the lower parts go back farther and contract like a piston to keep shape?

 

I'll have to really think about this when I'm not super tired OI

Yeah, I suggest not using flash for animating SB sprites. You'll want to do it flipbook style.
(I assume it's flash)

 

I was using flash then exporting as a sequence to photoshop but blech, I'll have to use something else
