Race Meet the Monophytes

They have been entirely too adorable/Creative to not be popular.

Very cool looking race, i like the idea that they always build there houses out of glass to better have a chance of absorbing sun light.

And the sketch for the different weapon types looks cool.

 

Lightsaber fists and greenhouses! I love this race.

 

I like them, we need more ideas like this. I don't mind the races based off of Earth animals, but having something very different is enjoyable.

 

this race is deffiently something we need as the other races dont really feel evil and i think we need a relatively dark race for people with darker personalities and this race passes with flying colors

 

Well technically most Florans and the Apex government are easily viewed as evil and there's nothing here saying that Monophytes are evil, just the Visionaries who exploit the ignorance of the populace. They just look rather creepy which is a nice change of pace in my book.

 

true though they are creepy which i think is something we need the apex gov. and florans just dont come across as creepy to me

 

Perhaps, it all depends on whether or not the lore behind it makes it creepy for you.

 

its mainly the lore that makes it creepy to me but yeah the entire view depends on the person though i still think starbound needs a race like this

now we just need for more to know about this and some of the other wonderful community suggested races

 

Of course, it's just that this one is unique and I need it in my Starbound copy, through mods or implementation.
