Modding Help Mech Mod

How do I install mods? I'd like to install the mech mod.

 

Extract the downloaded mod folder and put it into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Starbound\giraffe_storage\mods

 

How do I download it?

 

By clicking the button that says "Download Now" at the page for the mod

 

Then what? I downloaded it.

 

1) Right click your steam icon and then click properties
2) Click open file location in the properties
3) Look for the file named "SteamApps" and open it
4) Open the folder called "common"
5) Open the folder called "Starbound"
6) Open the folder called "giraffe_storage"
7) Open the folder called "mods"
8) Do what @Kayuko said
9) Open Starbound
10) Enjoy the mod

 

I'm on a mac I if that makes any difference
