Lobo is a good bloke, but this is a bit over-the-top. If we can fit in a subtle nod to his work, then maybe that would be better.

As much as I like the guy, having him be an actual deity in-game would be kind of silly. I would however like to see a reference to the derpvatars somewhere within Starbound as a painting or something.
Like I said, that thing would make a great (but horribly silly) mod - maybe a Starbound horror mod? you have to run away from the Loboman as he chases you through an abandoned military base on the planet "Setan 666"

I wouldn't mind a head piece for mobs or something like the above, but making Lobo a diety? Err, that's a bit "out there." though the creepiness of the above would have to render it only used in scary biomes, abandoned labs and stuff. I think i'd rather have Jonsey be president of the now-displaced humans. . . Speaking of which, I think that the president should have Jonsey glasses (but not called Jonsey or have any other correlation to Jonsey other than the glasses.) That is provided that the president isn't a huge major character who is expected to have characterization that doesn't fit with the glasses. If he only appears once or twice then that's fine.
