RELEASED Kawa's Felin Species (v3.3.3)

Surprised this race wasn't in the core game,cause I mean Cat-People are Cool. Hope you add unique Clothes to them

I might actually do add unique clothes, aside from the Just A Jacket seen in my avatar.

Edit because I have comments hidden: I'm a guy, I pronounce it "v-line", and "astral cartographer" is just my post rank.

 

I tried installing the mod, but modifying the files I'm asked to in the readme causes the game to fail launching.
Any workarounds?

 

use tvs mod loader thats what i did
edit:never use tvs modloader for races or your gonna have a bad time

 

Not to sound pushy or annoying but if you ever decide the change the ship up a bit could you possibly add support for Extended Ship Mod?

 

if what i did with floran will work for extended ship it should be easy
just gotta replace whatever race you want the extended ship for with the files needed
good news i just did it and it worked, felin ship was replaced with extended hyotl ship

Yeah that's what I'm doing at the moment as well, I just replaced my ship with the avian one, but it'd still be nice to have a tad bit larger ship that's actually meant for my felin than just some substitute. I mean I understand completely if kawa doesn't want to do it, since it would be an optional thing in the first place

 

I'm including this in my own custom race mod if you don't mind you'll get credit for the fix.

 

Can this cause the game to not get passed the loading screen? If not I'm having some personal issues with my game...

 

Any idea how to fix? It worked fine before

 

i can get past the loading screen just fine
if it helps i extracted the assets to the game files, and edited the config files myself
dont know what you could of done differently

 

I think my starbound just disagrees with me. Probably going to reinstall

Edit: Managed to clear out everything and it works now

 

my advice is to always have a folder with your mods ready to go and be re implemented at a moments notice
overite always, even if you think it wasnt changed do it anyways

 

I tried using this mod, but it keeps throwing errors at me after the loading screen. I've tried using a modloader and ever dropping it in the assets folder (not at the same time, mind you.)
I would really like to use this mod.
