So for clarity, is this going to go into effect for the normal client, or only for the unstable client specifically? I'd assume unstable only but I want to know if it's safe to turn updates back on for my stable installation, don't want my house eaten.
Don't quote me on this but I believe it is going to be a 3rd branch (or it might replaced unstable if I am wrong) so your stable will be fine as long as you don't try and play the stable save on Nightly then use them in stable again i would imagine. Edit: According to http://www.reddit.com/r/starbound/c...know_if_tiy_is_going_to_do_that_daily/ci2jpoj it is going to be a new branch.
==== Otherwise less bugs - more stable server - less bandwidth - all great things. I am sure those nightly builds would make others happy. Though is it now going to be 3 separate branches to choose from? Or 2 separate versions of the game on steam? For those who don't get the joke. This is Chucklefish's New Cute Office Pet. Who may or may not be used as an experiment to test the harmful effects of the nightly builds
Thank you so much for this! That's one of my biggest annoyances in the game and I'm extremely glad you've fixed it... at least, i'm pretty sure it's what i think you fixed. Sounds about right.
Can it eat my burning dog covered in ice along with the mech it's in? If so I DON'T CARE!! GIMME UPDATES! Shut up you.
SeaFishelleEdit: Merged your two consecutive posts into one. Quality over quantity! Oh and Updates pls Go on youtube to Playstations channel
Quoting you anyhow! No, see, it'll be this black hole time dilation thing where you don't get stable updates, or official unstable updates, but you get partial, broken, unofficial updates. Starting... someday.
Looks like it is just Starbound's launch trailer just remixed. The E3 Playstation trailer The launch trailer They have been planning a PS4/Vitta release since 2013, but have said (at the time at least) that work will not be done on it till the game full releases in order to not detract from PC development. Sounds Sciencey~, I use things like Chrome Canary so I am ready to try some nightlys and tell the devs the oddities I find that have not been reported 3000 times already
... it will eat your dog. If you don't have a dog, it will buy you a dog, wait until you grow attached to it, let you live with it for three years, and then eat you dog in front of you. (blame my history teacher for this sadism, not me)
