'Yup, good to sell I guess, not much else.' They walk in silence for a bit. 'About how much longer? If it's too long, we'll have to find someplace to hole up so I can eat and turn for a few hours.' He grimaced slightly at the thought.
Delzin rolls his eyes a bit " Well, You're talking to someone now. So, what is it that you were making such a ruckus over? "
"I don't think it'll be too much longer, but maybe you have a point. Keep an eye out for someplace that looks safe." The man laughs "Sounds like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. See here's the deal. I've got a boat, and I've been transportin' people off this island for a little while now. I assume if you're where you are now, that means you're looking to leave." ((Which man from before? There were a lot.)) What he could see from where he was were glimpses of boxes. Continuing down the tunnel he finds another grate with another room beside it.
Delzin raises a brow....Well isn't that just fortuitous... " Oh. That...That would be lovely....Where are you, me and my...." Delzin turns to Iris..... " Me and my sister would love to get off of this place..."
He sighs a little and looks around, looking for anything that stood out as useful for his work ahead of him.
"I'm about a mile off the coast *Static* There's a bit of whether out here but I could be there in maybe 10 minutes?" The only things around him out here were the tables and chairs. As before, it was a room with several pumps whose important components had been stripped. "Wilco? Now you're getting me all nostalgic."
He walks around and looks at what weapons and equipment for the surface is to offer, what seemed helpful or just interesting..
" Okay. We'll be here..." Delzin half turns to Iris, expecting her to be slightly incensed with him...He braces for a slap.
'Oh, military service?' Carson looks at Jason, interested. Some memory flits around the edges of his conciousness, elusive.
The two trying to see into the back room nearly bump into each other. "What? What are you looking at me like that for?" The sewers were a labyrinth of repeating patterns he continued through various tunnels and lefts and rights until he came across a grate that was different. This one had a large "Caution" sign tied to it. "16 years in the U.S. Armed Forces" He replies proudly.
" Oh. I thought you were going to slap me for me calling you my sister.....I should've asked you first, even if it was a lie. " Delzin chuckles a bit, smiling " So...We have to wait about ten minutes, then we have a boat! "
