Modding Help Is there a way to put Novakids+ mod in 1.3?

I know that's a mod created to play the race earlier and so it's for a version that doenst even have novakids in vanilla, but the novakids of Novakids+ are WAY better than the vanilla ones, also the respawn animation and ship are better...
I just wanna play with those novakids...

 

Permissions on it are locked down.

Edit: permissions on the forum version of Novaskin are open, putting it together as a standalone presently.

Sorry, I'm kind of a newbie, what's the difference in downloading the standalone version?

 

standalone version will make it a separate race instead of just overwriting the novakid

 

Mh... if I install the version that overwrites the default Novakid, are there problems in uninstalling it, or the Novas will just revert to their vanilla look?
