Server Help Internet dislikes starbound

    I can't ever play on my friends servers as my internet is crap and I always lag out after a while.
    I can play most games just fine with a bit of lag, overwatch / league / most mmos. But just starbound doesn't like working
    Would it be better if we used a dedicated server or something from a outside source to play together? Even then whats some good Na servers that are open and Vanilla (non-modded.) Mods are fine and all, but I'm just not a fan of them.

    Dedicated servers are always a better choice for hosting as they are, obviously, dedicated to hosting the game.

    Try it with a server preferably located in your country and see if it works there.
