Lagging because internet or gameranger?

Anyways as Saal said, it's perfectly fine. I played several ADV maps with my friend using it.

 

I was more using this to see how much that could take. But I'll check out GameRanger.
Also, it looks like my router has terraria port forwarded, but it's hidden and not being used. So I can't forward it...
Getting GameRanger now. And figuring out how it works.

Me thinks I need some help. How do I make a game after getting gameranger set up? Do I host something, as that looks to just be a chat room. I basicly want to host it in a way that other players don't need another program.

umm. If you host the game via gameranger it should automatically take you to player/world...
