its still rather odd and i see why new players discovering it post about it. Why is the value so high, btw? Cause it's not farmable? It's easy to jst run around a planet pressing e and get a ton.

I prefer turning the fruits into grenades, they are cool frags, it's faster to harvest crops for pixels.

 

Yeah, the grenades are pretty awesome. If you nail (Phhht, pun) someone with a grenade they basically take the full damage. Its like Thornfruit Dodgeball!

 

Thornfruit Grenades kill the mech boss SO FAST, it's silly.

All the throwing weapons are super powerful right now. Stone javelins baby, all the way to Dreadwing.
I'm assuming these will change with the combat update.

 

Throwing weapons don't do super damage, the issue is the lack of cooldown and lack of energy use. You can spam throwing, I forget what damage grenades did like 200-150. My nade launcher can fire 1 250 damage shot in the time you can toss out like 5-7 grenades.

 

Yeah it's must be legendary grenade launcher, with cluster grenades.

 

single 250 damage shot. .5 shots per second.
But it is pretty epic common rarity though. I'm saying you could toss in 5-7 nades in the time it takes to fire a 2 second shot that do the same or similar damage.
