I haven't added much furniture yet, or any dirt to farm crops, but I will! It's not perfect, but I like it a lot! I heard the Starbound crew were going to work on increasing ship sizes soon, not sure how they are going to do it, but it should be fun! I If anyone wants the block files and image files just let me know! EDIT: I uploaded the .png files which go in steam/steamapps/common/Starbound/assets/ship/human. My modded ship files are the dropship2 and dropshipblock2 files. I see a lot of you are downloading the others which are just default ships for starbound. I tried to upload the structure files while allow you to use the ships but I can't do it here. hmm. It's very simple though, if you edit two words in your structure file you will be able to make new characters with the new ship, but still be able to see other peoples "normal" human ships in multiplayer. 1.Open the .structure file which is in the ship/human folder in Notepad. 2."Find" "shipship.png" and rename "dropship2.png" 3."Find" "dropshipblocks.png" and rename "dropshipblocks2.png" This should allow you to use the ship I created, and just spent several hours editing the details of the ship! Back up your ship/human files before you do this, just in case. If you have any troubles let me know! P.S. The game normally crashes once when you try to open a character the first time whenever you change certain files, just restart it and it should work fine. I have done this hundreds of times already while playing with different ships! P.S.S At the beginning of the structure file is a "fuelmax" number. change it to whatever you want your Max fuel to be.
most ships do if you just put all files of the modded ship into the ship then whatever races folder but as always makesure you back up the first files befor replacing p.s. weres the dl for it
I'll put up some links soon. Im "perfecting" the image file so it lines up with the block files perfectly! And also painting/fixing areas of the file that don't look good. Taking a long time!

Wow, you really did a great work on this! Especially how you managed to keep the style of the ship intact! However, this gives me nightmares:
I just uploaded a new dropship2.png file. had 1 tiny mistake that i forgot to fix. EDIT: Uploaded it after a small edit again. This was the last time Enjoy! Also, I can't get the top left and bottom left thrusters to work. no matter what i do. But I didn't want to delete them form the image, they make it look better. if anyone can fix that let me know, it's not a big deal tho. I'll just pretend they go on in hyperdrive!
I know I said I wouldn't change it again, but I added bottom thrusters. still can't get the top left and lower left to work. oh well.
I could do that. I just have a lot of space and without the ship lockers spread out there would be no point for me to go to places around the ship, haha But if you open up the dropshipblocks file in paint, copy the green pain color where the ship storages are located and color the yellow color over them, you can place the green dots wherever you want.
