Agreed, that thing wouldn't work. The wings only help if you're going horizontal, but the propeller is set to go upward. So, the wings only add drag at that point; it might work if that little subwing in the middle had, say, a jet engine, but it looks to have missiles.
This is a helicopter made to go fast, but unable to get fast.
