You know, speaking of XCOM I should get back too it. I've got a long war ahead of me, and the Advent aren't going to kill themselves.

 

Speaking of, I actually read a story recently that made me want to play the game to at least see what it was.

 

I now want to play Fallout. I'm guessing I could install New Vegas again.

Actually, scratch that. I'll follow jims example and make a game with my forum friends as OC in it. I have Wasteland 2 and Star Crawlers for that. Let me know of you want to be in the party.

New Vegas is probably my favourite game ever, I love talking my way out of pretty much any fight.

 

Yes! I absolutely love New Vegas, though many people i know would disagree with me, I think it's a great game. The fallout community regards it as a bad game, but in my opinion, It's the best Fallout game that there is.

 

Wait, story?
Oh, riiiight, there's a story to what's going on. I'd forgotten given how long I've been at this war.

But yeah, it's worth playing Long War. And I guess the 15 hour tutorial that is XCOM.

I'd be up for being in a game, let me know which one you choose (I don't know what Star Crawlers is, and I've never seen anyone play Wasteland, so I don't have much preference.) and what details you can specify in the game.

Finished Dead Space 3 today. After all that time it unfortunately had to end.

The pretty spaces. The beautiful views. The dark and creepy corridors.
The monsters, the abundance of materials, the overpowered guns.
The characters I couldn't care less about...
...the plot that's nowhere to be found...
...the backtracking through copypasted rooms...


I WANT MY 20 HOURS BACK.

It's been like that for the last 4 days here(today being the only exception)

Or just get a hammer and take out one of your walls. I mean, not much privacy but at least there's airflow, right?

 

Ok, I'm currently playing Star Crawlers. It is a party-based dungeon crawler RPG. Think something like Legend of Grimrock but sci-fi. I'll outline the classes:

• Smugglers: Gunslingers, dual wielding pistols. Can place traps and use luck-based skills for damage and debuff. Fast but fragile and doesn't deal as much damage.
• Cyberninjas: Use melee for attacks and also pistols and rifles. Can combo their skills for maximum damage. Strong and fast, but draws the most aggro if not careful.
• Soldier: Uses heavy weaponry and demolition and act as tanks. Specialist in drawing aggro and sustaining damage, as well as dishing it. Sturdy but slow.
• Engineers: Can deploy robots to do their bidding, also has a lot of useful skills for interacting the environment. Wield shotguns, which deal massive crits but have low hit chance. Also a bit sturdy/slow.
• Void Psykers: Space mage. Great DPS and AOE attacks. Fragile.
• Force Psykers: Space Monks. Kind of like Void Psykers but more focused on buffs and a few healing skills.
• Hackers: Can inflict all sorts of debuffs and support the other party members. Also provide means for opening doors and computers. Fragile.
