Hello, I was wondering if elements for guns only come from the "elementType" field found on the activeitem, or does the effects/damage come from the "damageType" field on projectile, or is it a combination of both? Thanks.
It can come from the elementType the damageType and even the projectile itself. Take the Dragon Head Pistol for example; if you were to give a gun with no element and give it that projectile it will inflict fire damage when the projectile hit it.
The elementtype will define which element icon to show, and in the case of tendon weapons, will dictate which set of projectiles to use for the regular fire and ability fire.
