I think it's a great idea. Maybe replacing the Spawner with "DNA info capsule" and having a big room with cloning capsules on your ship that would be useful for populating planets and creating villages.
IDEA there should be an AI customization after the character creation. Kind of cheesy sounding, but you get to choose how it appears on screen, and lets you name your A.I.. Also, make it to where you have to befriend your A.I. or they shoot you into space to die.
Looks good for a start. All I can really hope is a few things others prior have mentioned. Customization & Options. Customization: Whether initially or later on get the ability or way to change the AI look; the avatar, and possibly how it greets you. It could be randomly chosen initially, as long eventually you get to change it/modify it. Just some minor customization is fine, even if it is only the avatar. After all eventually people are to find the outpost thing that has shops, and this be a good place for extras to be as well. Options: To whether having AI or not, and can later on switch on or off. This would be something just to have, as for myself I would be more interested in the customization above. Overall it looks like progress is going along pretty well, keep it up.
