Wow, this has a surprising amount of support. This isn't really my thing, but I think Skyrim's marriage system would be easier to implement than harvest moon's. Harvest Moon's is more in-depth because there are only a few characters for the devs to focus on. That said, Skyrim's marriage system didn't really seem to do anything gameplay or roleplay-wise.
