Zeta turns around to look at Kane

 

Kane returns Zeta's stare and continues heavily breathing.

 

"Go back to your harlotron, and Astrid."

 

Kane tosses Dante a quick glance before resting his eyes back on Zeta.

 

"Don't be any more creepy or anything."

 

A loud crash echoes throughout the ship.

"It bothers me...I mean, what if they were telling the truth"

 

Kane weakly holds up a middle finger to Dante before letting his arm drop back to his side.

 

Dante looked around. "Jeeves what was that?!" "It appears a small militant fighter is boarding! Hostiles inbound!"

 

"They were high."

 

Dante takes his scythe out and hands Zeta his pistol. He looks at Kane. Not yet, you did just do something quite bad.... "Zeta you know how to use that thing, right?"

 

Zeta glanced at the pistol
"Y....yeah..I was a mercenary...It's just....one thing...."

 

Kane slowly stumbles over to Zeta. "I.... protect her."

 

"What is it?"

Dante put a hand out and blocked Kane from getting within a foot of Zeta.

 

Kane repeated himself, this time more firmly. "I protect her."

 

"You wanna protect her? Help us. Go see who is out there." He turned back and waited for Zeta's response.

 

"No. You are more fit than me for combat."

 

"I've never.....actually harmed anyone."

 

Loud yelling is heard down the hall.

 

"Which is why I will protect you."

 

The ship rockets forwards, as the FTL drive has fully charged. "Last time I left you alone with her you tried to rape her. You ain't protecting sh*t all."
