It's been a while that the bouncy tech and fall speed didn't change to a better state.
I guess it would resolve a lot of crash issues if the max fall speed get adjusted to a more reasonable value , WAY more slower than current max speed.
Currently the acceleration to fall speed is too damn fast too. If you make a hellevator you start to fall at lightspeed in the very first fraction of secs of fall...and the world starts to have visual artifacts trying to load so fast.
It bugs the bouncy tech too when you're falling so fast and it doesn't process correctly the physics and BAMN, you're dead.
Talking about it, it is necessary to change the bouncy tech physical hitbox to something more similar to the player hitbox. or change the tech to something like fall damage negation instead of the bouncing effect.
Here's why: it makes the tech impractical early game when you dig holes 2 block wide.
If you make a hellevator and them fall to it.... the bouncy tech makes you hit the edges of the hellevators when there is a tunnel. and the result is that you bounce to the sides and hit enenies or other holes and you keep dying.
Changes to this tech and fall speed would make the game way more practical and enjoyable.
Another Issue is that Ixodoom is doing too much damage. with durasteel armor I'm getting 2/3 of damage with a single slam of him, or a touch of his spiderlings. Nerf their damage or his focus on the player and let Nuru tank it. a little bit. and change the area /speed of the acid attacks....because there's no way to survive singleplayer even using lots of healing items.
