Technically, your brain requires time to process your environment and even your instincts, your involuntary responses which require no thinking at all, are moments in the past. So depending on how you define 'living' humans may indeed be living in the past in every moment of their lives - And either way, everyone is certainly thinking in the past. So in fact, the very nature of your reality lies in the past, not the present. All lifeforms are literally and physically completely incapable of realizing the present reality. ....... Mind blower?
