This is interesting, but i feel characters well feel to claustraphobic with all those visual adjustments, plus some characters well want to look human, and armoring all those would be complex.
You're right. I thought about it a bit and have since realized that mutations would have to be minor, like in Fallout 3, the 'Rad Regeneration' perk. That made you heal broken limbs if you were irradiated. There was no visual change to your character, however. Anway, your character would probably die from a major physical change, so mutation to the extremes may be going a little far.
That depends on how much DNA you apply. Example, if you add a single DNA Charge to you, differences would be small. If you add three DNA Charges (So full your DNA max), Your character would be almost no human and a lot like that creature.
Well, if we're going for aesthetics, I suppose, but what of the player who just wants the perk? Who wants to play a human, not a Lizapenguispidhumaslimewhale?
I mean DNA which ONLY changes your appearance and DNA which ONLY adds ability for people who want to stay human
I love this idea, I think this would really add to the character customization to best suit your play style. Nice one.
I really like the idea of wings and oooh you could mix animals together aswell and create hybrids and stronger animals
