RP DEPTHS: The old city.

Sasha tromps up the stairs heading for the source of the metal on metal noise, with Simo trailing just after.

 

Bryon finishes cleaving the ice off. He looks forlornly at his clothes

 

"Ack! You'd love pickled ginger." He shakes his head and coughs again at the thought. "Could you show me around?" He nods to the door.

 

Richard catches the shoulder of the 'captain' Sallok and motions to the building, "Company, green, just a glimpse so they're smart or fast.."

 

You don't see anything as you come up the stairs, but Sasha is suddenly blindsided by something, A sharp jabbing pain in his side with an audible 'KINK' like glass snapping...
Thankfully, whatever it was is more or less has the mass of a water balloon, but it's enough to cause Sasha to stumble to the ground while whatever it is deforms against him, flopping to the ground beside him...
It's... That thing you shot from before...

They're quite ripped... You feel a bit disheartened in your now tattered apparel...
"Would you like my clothes?"

It doesn't quite seem to understand, but goes over to the door, checking outside...

He notices it too, but whatever it is... It seems to be stationary... Like something glinting in the rubble...
"This reeks of a trap..."

 

Bryon turns and smiles warmly at the one offering clothes
" N-n-n-n-no thank y-y-you....B-b-but..e-e-erh....N-nothing.....N_n-none of y-y-y-you have seen a-any...."squishy" things i-i-in the city? "

 

"And that just pisses me off...Knowing it's there.."

 

Sasha lets out a pained grunt as he pulls away, trying to get back on his feet.
Simo steps forward, firing a burst from his SMG into the creature.

 

((Crap... Someone fill me in please.))

 

Cain takes the prettiest and most expensive looking painting and statuette, figuring it'd be a good idea to see if they hold any meaning or purpose. He also pulls out the pigment set, looking at it in a better light, before leaving it back on the cabinet. Cain gathers they whoever or whatever lived here before must've been an artist of sorts. He continues through the building, searching now for valuables or artifacts.

 

He follows behind, "Seems like an odd place to stay."

Demina reaches for one of the spikes, "Doesn't that hurt?"

 

" N-not at all..."

 

"That's good..." She scratches at the spike, staring intently at it.

 

He shaves the spike off, keeping it mostly intact and handing it to you

" I-I-It'll t-take a long w-while to m-m-melt "

 

She takes it and tries looking through it. "Even out in this weather?"

 

" I-It wont m-melt until it r-reaches e-eighty degrees farenh-h-height...."

It refracts in a strange way.. Like a blue lens...

 

Qi-
"Uhh... we did encounter... something... like a great big blob of... matter..."

You hear the gunfire inside.

The thing flaps out of the way, but you get one of its legs shredded. It's making a bolt for the window.

((not much is happening. Most have gone off on their own to explore the outer rim of the city. You're still with Bryon at camp.))

The pigments are definitely for painting. Like those watercolor sets. The statuette you choose is a statue of some sort of... thing...
While the painting is...

It checks outside, before looking shocked and back inside, hiding behind the frame.

 

He immediately heads for it, gun ready, "Something is just toying with us..."

 

And quickly, Bryon is hiding behind Demina

" S-shogga? W-were they....shogga? C-cold w-w-works against them...I think...W-well...my cold and ice does..."

 

Sasha pulls himself back to his feet, as he aims and fires at the creature with his pistol.
Simo fires a second burst at the creature as well.
