Here's a suggestion: Just assume that the beta will be out in December. If it comes early, it'll be a surprise. It's exactly the same outcome as if Tiy had actually specified December.

Everyone could afk until the 31st and if their "check every day" friends say the game came out before then, Bam. pleasant surprise.
But id go more along the lines of 31 Dec 2013 23:59:59.

Yeah but who cares at that point. At least up until 2014 everyone stops the back n' forth of "whens beta" "HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT TO ME".

 

I suspect actually that those who've funded the higher tiers are even more sold out for the game than some of the cheapskates and ones who (like me) can't afford higher tiers. I don't do think not being able to connect to the internet and most of the team being busy working on the most important thing (the game itself, you know, the one you seem so desperate to be released) was actually quite a good excuse. Don't be so disingenuous and eat some cake. Chill out!
