I updated your mod and now I'm getting a Java Exception error when I try to run structure.jar. I'm not what, if anything I did wrong.
As far as scanning goes there's this: http://community.playstarbound.com/index.php?resources/base-in-a-box.592/ though as far as I can tell there's no way to duplicate a scanned item and it tends to lag a bit. For making scanning part of this mod, I don't think it's possible. As far as I know, Starbound disables Lua's ability to read/write files, so anything scanned is essentially stuck in the game with no way to create a file that this mod can use. There are two log files. ConstructionLog.txt contains errors from the most recent run, and ConstructionLogOld.txt contains everything from all previous runs. If both are empty, could you start it with runjar.bat and copy/paste or screenshot the output?
thank you for your quick response. i guess there's no way other than Starcheat to duplicate buildings that are already made, it was worth a shot.
If I run runjar.bat I get As admin I get If I try and run Structure.jar I get I tried your solution at page 2 but it didn't change anything.
fox have you made sure you have the most up to date version of java for your OS and processor, if i remember correctly i had to do that and delete the mod and do a clean install of the mod.
This is exactly the problem I'm getting. Also, I dug up an older version from a month ago and it works fine
Thanks for the in-depth answer . It means that the version of Java you're using (in this case Java 7) is not forward compatible with the new version (Java 8).
