I've mostly stuck to singleplayer just from personal preference, but there should be no reason it wouldn't work in multiplayer as well.

any chance you could add Avali tileset support in the future? Of all the custom race mods, it's one of the most popular and developed.
Not as part of the mod itself. I don't want to get into dealing with making sure everything from other mods work with this one, keeping things up to date, etc at this point. However, assuming the tile names follow Starbound's naming conventions you should be able to just crop them to 14x14 pixels, drop them in "StructureGen/images/tiles/tiles/", and be able to use them.
