    Help.

    For some reason there was more pie and cake at my thanksgiving dinner than actual food.
    That said there was a ton of food plus 7 cakes and pies my aunts made plus whatever other people brought. I just lost count. It was so delicious.
    Everyone had the same idea. Take a small slice from all of them, all of the cakes and pies were half eaten.

    Also, apparently in the city my dad lived near as a kid this would happen whenever a good would come in.
    He said that people had money, not a lot but enough to buy a luxury good or two like a small radio but there were none to be had. When one or two actually would show up in stores there would be a bit of a frenzy.
