1. When making a thread, please tag your thread accordingly using the menu to the left of the textfield where you name your thread where applicable. Server Advertisements and Mod Releases should be contained to their respective subforums.

Server Help Changing the Server Port?

    Because I want to be able to configure my server to my liking, and I already have a forwarded port that I would prefer to use as I don't personally have access to my router to forward ports on the fly and I'd like to get started as soon as possible rather than wait until I can get it forwarded. If I had known which port had needed to be forwarded ahead of time it wouldn't be an issue, but I find it really surprising that basic configuration processes aren't readily obviously and I'd find it more surprising if they weren't available at all.

    In linux , edit default_configuration.config (should be in /home/starbound/server/assets) and change the gameport.
