Ah, hello, you're Captain White I presume? I was told if I wanted a job to speak with you.

 

Myi watched, uncertain, until she heard others defer to one as the captain.

A tall Avali in a coat that covered his body and head, but she caught a glimpse of a faceplate in the cameras.

She began to hum a song, leveling her sights on this single Avali.

From actions, judgement.

From above, punishment.

We, ambassadors of other's cries for justice

We, bringers of order,

Do repay what is deserved.

She fired.

Sirius stands there for a bit, shocked. "This isn't good. This is really, really not good." He notices the gunshot wound, looking past the gate for the attacker.

 

*Carter looks at the crew outside, then back at White and Coro *

"Hey, I'm thinking the same thing. Nothing new to me, though... Just need to look at the wound and guess where it was fired from..." Sirius gazes toward the area outside the gate. "...Somebody's over there somewhere." He instinctively reaches inside his coat.

 

Myi immediately compacted her gun, stowed it in her back holster, and bolted, the stimulant providing far more energy and speed than even an athletic Avali could muster.

Yeah, it's not that new to me either, it's just that it's usually a mugging, not an assassination. You want back up or should I stay here?

 

*she slowly looked up following the contrail of the round hoping it left one. she looked at white and began to examine the trajectory of the round impact site and look for wounds. Immediately pulling out her medkit and pulling out field surgery tools.*

Myifee, already half a mile away to begin with from her shooting position, easily leapt between the rooftops of the closely clustered buildings, her featherless wings providing no drag as she ran.

She only began to slow when she was far enough away to catch her breath, quickly stowing her gear and, for all intents and purposes, looking like a normal Avali.

She frowned, but accepted the transfer.
