    ...because I'm adding special variants to the Bufux (Bunny Fox), like different colors, fur patterns, different tails and a special hidden variant as a Shiny of sorts.

    Hm... Do the avali have a mech? Nope, right? What about trying to edit the spiderbot functions so it has not so oversized graphics, same articulated legs, and not being so overpowered altogether?

    I tried something like that, on a Graphical level, but it needs more articulated parts to not look like some cheap toy...
    ...Also the Avali's technical advances kinda make it look not up to their level of game.

    Aside that: I have no idea how to code.

    Welp, I have ideas, and I've been poking around old internet for source material: the avali do have a mech based off of them already, the Duellist; that, and other source stuff can be found way over on Ryuujin's Spore account, if anyone's interested.

    Though, in light of me going back in search of old things... what happened to Catalina's 3D printer?

    I had something like that in mind for the pets, but thought since the Avali ain't really seadwellers (Their seas are most likely frozen and their plumage does not seem thermoisolating enough to sustain coldprotection when wet...).

    I like how many of their Near-Ground units have this "Airbike" look though.

    i think what would be a nice idea would perhaps be an avali themed mecha? like on the wiki [ linked here ] in the middle left portion. (at least i think its a mech)

    intended to be an avail mech, designed by some guy at reddit who wanted anyone to animate it and implement it as an standalone mod, but no one stepped up[DOUBLEPOST=1431859065][/DOUBLEPOST]also, i've just had a look at ryuujin's spore page, and it really is inspiring
    i might make an avail boat too

    I can confirm the Dyemod avali patch is crashing the game after switching to the Triage + community addition version. Using ONLY Dyemod doesn't cause any errors. Here's my log.

    Honestly, I'm thinking about just recombining them into the one mod again.
    The download was never all that big in the first place, and it's starting to become tough to follow two threads at once. That and if having them separate is causing issues...

    Suggestion: If you can make the internal structure so that the additions are -very- sepparated from the core mod, if/whenever Ryu wants to take over again, as long as the code is easy to tell apart, then there should be no harm done in keeping them together. That's what i think. It's for the same end purpose anyway, and I'd really like to see a full compilation of all these in the distant future [including the other avali-related mods].
