are tentacles (food) glitched?

so i found a glitch merchant selling raw tentacles, and bought some because recipes are collectable or whatever. but i can't seem to cook them anywhere? the campfire, the cooking station, nothing seems to provide the recipe to make them cooked. i'm guessing the recipe was misplaced in an update?

also, the campfire banana can't be made at the campfire, which seems a bit silly.

 

Interestingly, cooked tentacles exist in the game files. And so does the recipe for creating them, but for some reason there's no way to learn it. I'm inclined to agree that it seems like an oversight.

 

Yeah, it's a minor but annoying oversight.

 

Maybe they'll be put back in? There's always mods, for those who are really enthusiastic about eating tentacles.
