Location:

Go Right, the Tech is a screen or two to the right of the 2nd abandoned apex lab. The chest is around the entrance of the cave. You might need sunlight to find it.

The weapon is more further right from the tech in a open area of desert. It is a 2handed flamethrowing rifle.

The further right past 4th apex lab have a Fiorian captive dungeon.

I searched for it, but can't find Floran village. but,
1 Avian dungeon
some Apex small labs
2 tech boxes (gravity bubble, pulse jump) on the ground
2 instruments (oboe, rock organ).

* And i find a Floran village in [ Gamma Iota Her 381 I ] .
* also, if you only want wizard hat, go right side. much faster.

 

Couldn't find the other stuff you mentioned, kept dying and I hate magmastone, so I went to the Desert planet in the same system (Ib) and walked right a couple seconds and found a little assassin building with an instrument chest (Violin for me).

Edit: Keep going right and there's a mine shaft, follow it straight down and there might be a wood crate with another instrument, (I found a harmonica).

 

TONS of ore on this planet. Just stay at the sludge and dirt level and live in there a while. This is the highest concentration we have seen yet,

This thread has helped me soooo much. Thanks guys. Side note: Has anyone noticed fish being attracted to dropped pixels? I just killed a mob on a wood platform directly above water and all the fish went under the pixels like they were trying to eat it, when I picked it up, they went back to swimming around.

For the lore and costume fans, and also for people that wanna see something fun...

I found a glitch castle! Complete with Glitch knights, a couple on horses, and a king! Hostile guards when you enter but the servants are neutral. Also contains many Glitch Lore entries, lots of cool furniture, a crown if you kill the king and a frilly pink tutu tucked away in his chambers... I asked a servant about that one and he said "I'm not allowed to talk about that..." >.>
